Had me a Pollo ad Astra Romana from Pizza Express last week, spicy chicken, onions, peppers and cajun sawce on a thin crispy base. Fucking tasty.

 

What did you say to the waiter though? "Can I have a Pollo ad Astra Romana please commendatori?" Or "Can I have a spicy chicken, onions, peppers and cajun sauce pizza please mate?"

haha did I fuck. I pointed to the menu and grunted, he got the gist.

 

Quality.

 

Was in stitches on my birthday last year, we went to some italian gaff, and one of my mates who's a bit eccentric orders the goats cheese in its original Italian, makes this big long meal of saying it and it actually sounds legit, but the waiter just goes "you mean goat's cheese?" With a straight face, my mate actually visibly deflated - was fuckin funny as!

For some reason I absolutely love Pepperoni and Pineapple. Bit of salty, deep meat with a sweet kick at the end.

 

I love chillies and Jalapeno's on a pizza as well though. And those ones you get from pizza express with all the fresh herbs and that are boss.

What's these pizza stones?

Myself and Karl do going by this thread. I also wouldn't put it past Paul.

 

I'm in the long slow process of making a clay pizza oven in my garden. I will have a peel and make the best Pizzas in all of Milton Keynes.

 

Pizza Stones are like the trays but made of stone obviously. If you stick them in the preheated oven, they help make an evenly crusted Pizza in double quick time achieving a nice spongy inside too.

 

Does anyone know a good stockist of 00 grade flour?

 

Top tip, you can get fresh yeast for free at most large supermarkets if you ask at the Bakery. I think only Morrisons don't do it for free and even then it's really cheap.
