If you watch him week in week out, you will notice that he rarely laughs if other people make a joke that gets a big laugh. This corresponds to my friends experience of him. He’s not widely liked by other comedians on the circuit apparently and he doesn’t do Red Nose Day, go on panel shows or other people’s radio programmes either. I get the impression he’s a moody unpopular cunt.

One of the things I've always liked about him is that he rarely laughs, is very dry and to be fair I have seen him piss himself at someone else's jokes. he doesn't do it often but he definitely does. Maybe he just doesn't find most things that funny. I bet if you asked him he would probably say he doesn't know how he gets a platform to be funny. I'm certain he couldn't give a flying fuck what Jack Whitehall and Lenny Henry think of him. You probably cracked a joke and he just looked at you vacantly wondering who the fuck you are and why you would say something so tragically unfunny.

I might be wrong. He probably is a cunt. He is definitely the main reason I watch HIGNFY though. If he left it would have the same impact as Frankie Boyle leaving Mock the Week. It would become pointless.

Paul Merton is funny on HIGNFY

I used to think that until they had those few programmes in lockdown via video. He must need an audience , he was hopeless in them and Ian Hislop actually came across more quick witted.

I was told in no uncertain terms not to snore when I come to bed tonight, after an unfortunate incident earlier in the week. She has to get up early tomorrow. I've just opened my 8th pint can of Carlsberg Export and I'm listening to the Gang of Four. Not sure if it's tricky or shameful, but I'd really like a wank and XHamster cam girls are calling. Modern life is great.
