I can’t get meat pies where I live. Bizarrely I see all the other types of pies that Holland’s do but never the humble meat pie which is the best of the lot. Probably been 10 years since I last saw one.

I picked some up from the Asda in Runcorn when I was there the other day and got my sister to cook them for me yesterday before I came home. Drove the four hours back with them wrapped up and sitting on the passenger seat, the smell of them emanating from the tin foil all the way home.

Just warmed up and ate the last one now. My word. Possibly the greatest shit food in the world.

I picked my youngest Granddaughter up from nursery at 12, and put one of the the young kids TV channels  on for her while the Mrs did her lunch.

The wheels on the bus came on (she'll be 3 in November) and she's singing away. Lovely.

What made it better though was when I started singing "The Nana's on the bus go nag, nag, nag" . She thought it was hilarious and started singing the same.

Mrs HL comes in with with her lunch and the little one starts singing it again. And again.

Priceless.
