  1. 1. How arsed are you about climate change?

    • Very. I do everything I possibly can to be greener.
    • Arsed. I do what I have to and a bit more, as long as it doesn't hurt my pocket.
    • Think it's an issue and I do what I have to, but I'm not sweating it.
    • Climate change, schmimate change. Big conspiracy to tax us more and sell us shit we don't need.

She’ll probably be too pissed off with the magazine thing to notice the condescension. Pretty sure the very last thing she’s after is personal accolades

Yes, the previous winner's list is basically a who's who of the biggest cunts to have ever walked the earth.

Would you even have prefixed his name at all? I wouldn’t.

Anyway, I won’t labour (subliminal plug there) the point any more on here.

I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving...except perhaps David Attenborough

I never mentioned her name -- because she didn't really need an introduction did she??

David "Poppycock" Attenborough was a nice older gentleman.

A lot less concerned than I was this time yesterday, let's just burn everything!

The good news is the planet will survive as it always does mate. The cycles of a Global Warming or an Ice Age are inevitable. Us humans think we are so important, but in the big scheme of things we are a mere blip in time. The Bible makes me laugh (apologies to all those who believe in religion but it just isn't for me) especially the main bit about a bearded fellow in the Sky creating the Universe, planets and mankind in 7 days, yet ignore science and the fact the planet is over 4.5 billion years old. That's some gap between its birth and us ever so important humans making an entry. How can you believe in such crap? If it was written today you'd want the fuckers locking up.

Blackrock Investment (world's largest asset manager) to make climate change "central to it's investment decisions".

Looks like a good sign.

I'm not selling my BAE stocks just yet, but "sustainability" is looking more and more attractive.

I think solar power generation in the UK grew around 10,000% under the coalition, but only by about 50% since then. So, yeah, don't expect this bunch to contribute much to climate change amelioration.

Right on cue, this bunch are rushing to support an airline that specialises in domestic flights.

So it can't be changed.  Must be why billionaires are yachting up. Is this really end times?

Apparently NZ is where most have their apocalyptic bolt holes.

probably need the yachts to get them there.

Last month was the hottest January on record over the world’s land and ocean surfaces, with average temperatures exceeding anything in the 141 years of data held by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

It was quite pleasant, yes.

The world’s largest financier of fossil fuels has warned clients that the climate crisis threatens the survival of humanity and that the planet is on an unsustainable trajectory, according to a leaked document.

The JP Morgan report on the economic risks of human-caused global heating said climate policy had to change or else the world faced irreversible consequences.

The study implicitly condemns the US bank’s own investment strategy and highlights growing concerns among major Wall Street institutions about the financial and reputational risks of continued funding of carbon-intensive industries, such as oil and gas.

The winter just experienced by Europe was by far the hottest on record, scientists have announced, with the climate crisis likely to have supercharged the heat.

The EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) data dates back to 1855. It said the average temperature for December, January and February was 1.4C above the previous winter record, which was set in 2015-16. New regional climate records are usually passed by only a fraction of a degree. Europe’s winter was 3.4C hotter than the average from 1981-2010.
