Don't forget that when Rocky was young and single, he fought with nothing to lose and everything to gain. After he'd become champion and had a wife and kid, he now had something to lose. That fear crippled him mentally, something he admitted himself.

My favourite Rocky film as it was the first i went to see at the cinema as a kid.

 

Its remembered for the Dolph than it is for Sly.

 

Both are shit actors though. But this was Dolph's greatest performance i feel.

That is very unfair to Micky.

 

Apollo spent 30 rounds beating Rocky from pillar to post. Any other referee or corner would have stopped either fight on multiple occasions.

 

Micky was being prudent in minimising Rocky’s risk of CTE and maximising his payouts.
