Christmas night out

We're having our work's Christmas night out this saturday and the boss was supposed to have sorted out somewhere to go to eat but left it too late and now we're struggling to find anywhere.

Anybody got any good tips on places we could try?There's gonna be about 8 or 9 of us and we're just looking for somewhere that does reasonably cheap food that Isn't gonna be packed to the rafters.

If anyone's got any suggestions It'd be appreciated as my idea of going to Maccies didn't go down too well.

Couple of options mate, although I can't guarantee a table due to time of year and your boss leaving it late.

 

Meet - 01512581816 think someone posted this on here a while ago. Very good restaurant. A proper steak house with meats from all over the show but specialising in Argentinian cuisine.

 

Zorbas on Hardman Street. Being half Grek I can vouch that this is the best Greek restaurant I have been to in Liverpool. Spot on. 01517090190

 

Or if you want a Chinese try the Shanghai Palace 01512366931 or the Shangra La (where Gerards bird bottled that woman.) 01512550708. The Shanghai Palace is as good as it gets for Chinese food in Liverpool but its slightly more piey than the Shangra La.

Thats where i'm going this year for our xmas do. Went there last year too and agree the food is A*.

There's a little place I know called KFC, the chicken bucket is wonderful and the chips are to die for, oh and the gravy well I couldnt say a bad thing about it.
