Ghosts

I got well and truly freaked the fuck out earlier this evening. Sitting in my mums living room chatting to my mum and dad about something serious. My phone, which is usually always in my pocket, was on a unit next to me (picture sitting, and the phone being slightly above the level of your midsection and slightly in front you). I had been texting my younger sister about this serious thing and put my phone down beyond a cup of coffee. Suddenly, mid conversation, the fucking thing not only 'fell off' but came backwards directly at me and quickly as if pushed off or thrown at me. I looked for the logical explanation but was stumped; physics defied. Time to call Venkman and co.

I have noticed a direct connection between vegetarianism and believing in ghosts

I can only go by the veggies I have met.

Weirdos and ghost beleivers one and all.

You I dont know

Interesting little illustration of the way human brains are wired to see patterns that aren't really there and to draw false conclusions.  Those sort of flaws in human reasoning are one explanation for the prevalence of belief in spooks and gods and ancient aliens.
