C'mon then...you know you all want to...

I have dreams in which I chase "Best 11" threads around the woods and shoot them with a rifle for their tedium.

I just thought I'd share that with you all.

Since when did "Best 11" threads develop legs? :tease:

Since they were in my dreams. They have mullets, wear those three quarter length pants, keep their shades on indoors and think Fran Ferdinand are the best band in the World.

They are twats.

Actually, completely understand what you are saying and I would normally steer clear of such threads...but, I have made an exception this time, due to the current influx of new players and the genuine optimism for the new season...

Fair enough. I can't promise that will stop the dreams though.

..............Reina

Finnan Hyypia Carragher Auriello

Gerrard Alonso Sissoko Gonzalez

.......Bellamy Crouch

Although i'm torn between Crouch and Robbie for the starting role there, Fowler has had a good couple of months intensive training behind him now and will start the season fresh for the first time in about six years! I reckon he's on for 20 goals this season easy...

I'm with you on your thoughts about Robbie, I really think the way the team is set up is going to benefit his style of play. He doesn't need the little bit of pace that he once had to score goals with us, and I think that was proven in the second half of last year. Maybe I just being nostalgic, maybe I'm so full of hope for a player who first ignited my intrest in Liverpool that I'm blind to reality, but I think Robbie will be immense for us this year, and he'll be so much than an influence on the younger players and a super sub.

Here's my Home and away:

Apart from RiS's 17 man team nobody included Garcia in the starting line up or even the subs - is there that much bad feeling towards the little fella that nobody see's any use for him?????

So you have sacked Finnan, Sami and Gerrard, three of our best performers last season. You have also dumped Bellamy in favour of a horse.

    • The outstanding start by Diogo Jota to his Liverpool career has been acknowledged with Michael Owen saying that the Portuguese star has been the best signing of the new Premier League season.   While Thiago was seen as the prize capture by the Reds during the Summer transfer window, it has been the 23 year-old former Wolves man who has made a seamless transition scoring nine goals in just 15 appearances in all competitions.   The quality performances of Jota have been worth their weight in gold when you consider the  amount of absentees Klopp has had to deal with through injury.   His rapid progress has caused Jurgen Klopp to shake up his front three with Roberto Firmino the man to miss out on a few occasions, a proposition that seemed highly unlikely just a few months ago.   That added depth to the front line has been seen by many as the final piece to the puzzle in Liverpool being the ultimate all-round team.   The performances of Jota have been worth their weight in gold when you consider the   amount of absentees Klopp has had to deal with.   Speaking on BT (via Metro) the former Reds striker said that consistent form of the forward has been a pleasant surprise.   “No one could’ve predicted that he would hit the ground running like he has.   “He’s surprised me with his pace, I must admit. I think he’s far quicker than I gave him credit for.    "Against Atalanta he was electric.   ‘He just shows composure, a lot of people panic, they just get a shot off as soon as they get any form of space. ‘I just think he’s scored headers, right foot, left foot, he’s scored everything so far and he’s looked the real deal in terms of linking play.   “Nobody could have envisaged the quality that he’s shown so far.”     Fellow former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch added that the ability of Jota to adapt his game has been clearly evident.   “Klopp’s obviously seen something in him, putting him more central or along the three of the strikers that they have. ‘He looks like a poacher.    “He’s getting goals in the six-yard box, he’s got headers, he’s got all types of goals.    “He’s a top, top signing."
