Just polished off a packet of these. Really nice. I think I may even prefer these and the choc chip versions to the standard Chocolate Hobnob .

Very disappointing. The "chocolate" is infused into the biscuit, bourbon-style. It tastes practically bitter in comparison to the sugary icing, which can't overpower it. Apparently no artificial flavours, colours, or preservatives; I can only assume they used real dogshit.

I haven’t had them, it’s not my picture, but I’d probably put them in the “nah, you’re alright” bracket.

^^^that has the potential to be the most magnificent of guilty pleasures ever......everything about it screams wrong but so right!

 

Seems there are only 6 in a pack and they cost £2.50 though.

I’ve not tried them. Custard creams need to be dunked though and dunking chocolate biscuits is too messy.

Chocolate covered custard creams are fucking boss.

 

Really fucking boss.

 

The chocolate is good quality and is thick and the mix of flavours whilst very sweet just works and works really fucking well. Nice crunch after a big chocolate hit and then of course the cream - might be a bit too sweet for some, but in my book that is all part of the fun!

 

They are big lumps too.

I bought these bad boys with the intention of cutting back. The thinking was ginger would do enough to scratch the itch and I wouldn't feel the need to devour the pack. Unfortunately they're so good I'm buying 2 packs at time.

I'd have to say 99 percent of biscuits are absolutely smashing, humankind has a done a fabulous job creating and seeking flavours and textures to see just how special a biscuit can be. I fucking salute all biscuits!

Iceland seem to carry stuff that has been pulled.

 

They were selling caramacs for a good while after they were pulled - must hold a lot of stock.

Or at Food Warehouse, which appears to be Iceland with its mask removed a la a Scooby Doo ending.

 

Of the lower end stores, B & M are the best for biscuits, sweets and chocolate imo.

'Fraid I can't remember mate. I haven't seen them lately though.
