My local corner shop does very similar bags of cheesy puffs, onion rings and salt n vinegar chipsticks. Outrageous over the top flavours, possibly rejects because they take the skin off your tongue.

Scampi nik-naks were/are a good version of a scampi crisp. They sold them in our school. You'd stink for days after them though so a no-go when you're too busy trying to get your fingers smelly in other ways. Pass the bunsen burner sir my mates got a dead fish in his bag.

It's a real issue.

 

Walkers have had supply issues so have had to focus on 'core range' at the expense of others, they also sub let themselves to make others so there's a real lack.

 

The Mrs was in Blighty for work recently and her one job was to fill a carrier bag with crisps at Heathrow for me when she returned.

 

What she returned with was pathetic, I assumed it was her being useless, but no, there's a real supply issue and I'm a cunt for doubting her.
