Convert mpeg wmv avi to dvd

I've wanted software that would allow me to watch some video files on my dvd player for a while now and one of the best ones i've found is ConvertXtoDVD but it's 30 odd quid.

So does anyone know of a free or cheaper bit of software that does this

you can also get a s video cable and run it from your pc through your tv

Try searching for it on limewire. If you find it make sure you scan it with a decent anti virus before running it.

I use software called WinAVI, which will convert almost any video format into anything else.

 

Can't remember if I've got the install for it here somewhere, but if I can find it I'll stick it up somewhere on the interweb and pm you a link for it.

Nero 7 does convert a hell of a lot of fileformats to DVD format. Try searching any file sharing network for "Nero 7 Premium".
