They should have approached Rafa when Real Madrid sacked him, as it was a given that Hodgson would have a terrible Euros.

I like to think Rafa would have told them to fuck right off given the shit he has had from the media here over the years. Unless he got them to the final (or possibly a heroic semi final defeat) then he would have been ripped apart.

I doubt Rafa has any interest in managing England. He will probably be looking at the Spain job when he's had his fix of the Club game

How credible do the FA look ?  They gave the job to a semi senile fuckwit who's major tournament performances were the biggest embarrassment ever.

Then they give the job to fucking Bluto whose arrogance gets him jibbed off after less than 3 months.

Calling them a laughing stock just doesn't come close to doing it justice.

Its not, Wenger won't want all the grief and nonsense that surrounds the job. Nearly 70 , probably caked and not even English : why on earth would he give a shit about the national team,

It's sort of is a semi retirement, I'd imagine it mainly involves travelling until the 5 days you have every 6 weeks with the players, even less second half of the season, seen as most scouting is done now online via apps and stats then he'd not exactly be in the day to day of club management. Bearing in mind it's been said he runs the whole club at Arsenal down to the finer details, managing 2 games every couple of months is like being in semi retirement.

I'm not saying he would give a shit about the national team but it's a job, a highly paid job at that. Do you think 90% of managers give a shit about any club before joining them?

Bielsa would be really good. He would focus on the things English players are good at. Namely, running.

Doubt anyone at the FA actually knows who he is.

Exactly, which seen as the majority of the squad is made up from players who play at a high intensity every week he would be perfect. He'd be the only manager available that would get the England team playing like us, Man City and Tottenham do each game.

Never ever a chance , The fuckwits at the FA had Woy nailed on to take it through to the WC,

They never ever considered he would plumb new depths of under achievement and have to be replaced,

That's why Ferguson goes to Wimbledon every year. Because he likes the BACKHANDERS of course.

Ferguso will never be found out. He is too wily and has got too much  on the Establishment for that. But he was a close buddy of the fat one and his son is/was a dodgy agent.

Its all the constant shite with the media . He wont need the money and at his age titting about with England is just a poison chalice, He will stay on in the Arsenal boardroom if he still wants to be involved and pack in the coaching probably next summer.
