IDF tells Palestinians to evacuate Khan Younis ahead of 'unprecedented attack'

In a post on X, the IDF’s Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee has told residents living in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, Bani Suheila and Abasan to “evacuate immediately” ahead of an “unprecedented attack” he claims is targeting Hamas infrastructure.

“The IDF will launch an unprecedented attack to destroy the capabilities of terrorist organizations in this area,” he wrote in the social media post.

“You must evacuate immediately west to the Mawasi area. From this moment, Khan Younis governorate will be considered a dangerous combat zone. Terrorist organizations have brought you disaster.

For your safety, evacuate immediately.”

The latest evacuation warning comes after Israel’s military issued a separate evacuation order for areas of central Gaza yesterday, as it continues with its expanded offensive across Gaza which is being accompanied by an intensified deadly bombing campaign.

So China are now anti-semitic for erm ….. delivering food packages to starving human beings.

Israel are also refusing an independent investigation into the slaughter of medics and are peddling the lie that there were Hamas fighters. Of course refusing to say why they tried to cover it up in the first place.

Starmer told Israel they had they right to withhold food and water. He's a former human rights lawyer, Israel would be right to feel aggrieved.

Netanyahu is an absolute murderous cunt, no debate. Genuine question though - why don't hamas just give back the remaining hostages? JFDI shirley?

Maybe it's the sliver of hope they can be used as leverage to persuade Israel not to murder another 25,000 babies this year?

I reckon in 5 or 10 years time this government, and the last, will be looked back at withy utter revulsion.

It's not just the specific people who were/are in government though is it. They're only doing what their morals and ideals leads them to do, just like under Blair etc.

The people will continue to vote for them though regardless, just like you and most others on here did.

I get that but they're still being murdered regardless. There are some rightly fucking angry Israelis who want their family members back, or their remains at least. Those Israeli families garner some international sympathy. Give the fuckers back, it removes all sympathy for Israelis.

If their families are part of the 53% of Israelis (according to a local news poll) who think it's right to stop all aid entering Gaza, then fuck them. A horrible, cunt nation.

An estimated 15,000 kids are expected to die of starvation in the next 48 hours if Israel don't let the aid trucks in. Fucking monsters.

Alright I was only asking the question.

I dare say a proportion of the 53% you mention have sympathy with the relatives of those families with hostaged relatives. Why not just remove all potential sympathy and return the hostages? Any reduction in Israeli sympathy and has to be good, right?

Yes monsters, yes murderers yes cunt nation etc etc. We already know that. But surely there has to be a negation of Israeli sympathy by returning the hostages. I just don't get it.

I naively thought early on releasing hostages would bring a halt to things that clearly isn't the case.

A number have been returned, 148 so far out of the 251 and the massacre and starvation continues of the Palestinian people.

Comments from several Israeli leaders have suggested the hostages are not the priority. Netanyahu’s former defense minister accused him of abandoning the Israeli hostages.

Gershon Baskin an Israeli hostage negotiator had an agreement with Hamas to release the hostages he said Netanyahu does not want to that was August 2024.

Didn't a UN Commission find that Israel enacted the Hannibal Directive on October 7th?

They likely killed people to prevent them being taken as hostages. I've never heard of an AK47 being able to burn people alive, put lots of holes in them but it doesn't melt bodies. So, this thing about returning hostages is a bit moot especially when the targeted bombing of Gaza is less than targeted unless you're targeting everyone.
