A lovely Tolkienesque fantasy scenario in which Israel will suddenly pay attention to the UN (who they’ve continually ignored for decades) and will suddenly allow a fully-armed third party force onto the land to stop illegal settlements and attacks by the IDF. Which, of course, is nonsensical high fantasy from a troll solely determined to use genocide to wind up some lefties.

After all, I’m sure Fantasy Israel would be happy to move back the wall they’ve built around Gaza and treturn the natural water supply to those villages they took it from. No doubt super friendly Fantasy IDF, in the spirit of reconciliation, will escort the heavily armed illegal settlers out of the West Bank and Gaza.

 

And I’ve no doubt Fantasy Israel will repeal the concessions they’ve given to Israeli companies and foreign companies to drill for gas in Palestinian waters…

Hamas has done plenty wrong. Hamas are not currently annexing another country.

I just reckon that people criticised Hamas at the time that they committed a massacre but they now feel that it’s a more pressing concern to criticise Israel and highlight the mass slaughter that they carried out since that massacre and continue to do so in the here and now. 

And, some people are more minded to try and deflect attention away from their backing of Israel collective punishment of innocents - including the slaughter of women and children - than others are. 
 

The “but do you condemn Hamas” rhetoric/deflection ran out of steam a long time ago.

Should France and the allies have just stopped?
