I agree with Oborne. Wonder why it's not getting the same attention? Wonder why any of the atrocities are not receiving the same attention. Anyone got any clues?

Whilst I don’t doubt that there are some children in Gaza suffering with malnutrition and starvation, that image is open to debate with growing evidence being adduced to show that he actually suffers from some form of muscle wasting autoimmune disease.

But, in genuine and evidenced news, the reports on ITV News tonight of people (including kids) who’ve got missing eyes and limbs and severe burns and were being transported on medical planes out of Gaza to Qatar was desperately heartbreaking and sickening.

Little kids on crutches with a dangling trouser leg where a now missing limb once used to be.

Yeah he does. He can't get his nutrition that's why he's so ill. I believe they've got to him now. Plenty of other pics more gruesome to show,  as you say

Looks like the UN have said there is evidence of rape by Hamas on October the 7th. Horrible cunts.

Although the rumour of the pregnant woman cut open seems to be unfounded.

What a truly vile world we live in.

"Israel welcomes the definitive recognition that Hamas committed sexual crimes," Lior Haiat, a spokesman for the Israeli foreign ministry, said in response to the report's publication.

He added that Israel was now "calling for the immediate convening of the [UN] Security Council with the aim of designating Hamas as a terrorist organisation and the imposition of international sanctions on it".

This meeting needs to happen immediately.

Both Hamas and the IDF should be designated as terrorist organizations, and subjected to the highest level of international sanctions.

Hamas is already designated as a terrorist organization by many countries - including the UK and the EU.

The UN has declined to rule on them for 5 or 6 years now.

Re: the UN - the IDF cannot be designated as such - they would be up for war crimes.

Hamas official Basem Naim said on Monday to AFP that the terror group did not know which of the hostages were dead or alive.

Basem also added that the hostages were held by many terror groups in different locations in the Gaza Strip.

According to Basem, a ceasefire is necessary for Hamas to ascertain how many and which hostages it is still holding.

the absolutely theoretic scenario

Do what during which part?

The theoretical acknowledging of Palestine as a state by all UN members?

The theoretical newly acknowledged state of Palestine gaining entry into the UN?

The theoretical annointing of Hamas as the sole government of the new theoretical Palestine state?

The theoretical ability of Hamas to join it's multiple militant factions into the recognized military of the new theoretical Palestine state?

Yea, agreed, chickpeas. I do get the hope for theoreticals as reality is hit or miss in this house you have built for yourself here.

As for the theoreticals - we don't need to do that.

The UN already voted on a "ceasefire" resolution, along party lines if you will, and both amendments presented that had any mention of Hamas were not passed.

Forget about me and the house that I have built (whatever that shit is supposed to mean). You give my persona more attention than it really deserves. For some reason.

Back on topic. So you think the US would veto a theoretical UN resolution that imposes extreme sanctions on both Hamas and the IDF?

We can stick to hummus and falafel if you want. No need to push yourself there.

Can't really be lectured on media bias by someone in the paid employment of Russian state media.

This one?

Abby Martin, a presenter on the Russia today television channel - which is funded through the Kremlin - denounced Russian action live on air.

She said she 'would not sit here and apologise or defend military aggression,' before saying her 'heart went out' to the Ukrainian people who she described as 'the real losers here.'
