New Coral album streaming on nme

http://www.nme.com/blogs/nme-blogs/nme-exclusive-listen-to-the-corals-lost-album-the-curse-of-love

The album to s 8 years old but got shelved because the record company wanted something more commercial. Sounds boss on first listen, could be the best thing they've done..

Quick quiz, pop-pickers - Have you ever seen any of these live and what did you think of them?

Paul Kappa

Marc Kenny

Cal Mac (from The Mac Bros)

Alan Cross

The Poor Boys

Xebra

Joey Shields

The IceBreakers

Tony Judge

Seen Kappa a few times. His band are boss live as his he. Seen them one afternoon in the camera bar and they were boss. Mainly covers though. Walked round a few pubs then got to Heebie Jeebies and they were setting up again. Twice in one day wasn't enough.

Anybody remember 35 Summers? They had that Shankly t-shirt.

I'm sure I have one of their 12"s back home but will need to check.

I was on the phone to my Dad last night & he was on about those t-shirts & we had a debate about one of their songs. To be honest I can't remember if they were any good or not, 'been 27 years since I've heard them.

I remember there were a couple of GFers who liked my old band Mr Ted so this may be of interest, we've reformed and are playing our first gig in 5 years in a couple of weeks.
