I’ve voted for Robertson but that’s with an assumption he’s still there next season. Even if he’s not a regular starter, he’d still be my nominal vice captain. 
 

The leadership team they have in place makes the need for the vice captain to be a regular starter, less important. What he does off the pitch will be equally important, James Milner being the best example.

 

If he leaves then Mo or Ali. If they both leave then Harvey.

I think Konate has good leadership qualities, although he has been a bit of a liability recently. Assuming he signs a new deal, I think it would help him step out of VVD’s shadow a bit and show him what he could have in 2 years time.

A player’s injury history, to me anyway, has no bearing to which position in the queue you are for the armband. More about the years of service, how well respected they are, how they conduct themselves professionally and ultimately what they can bring to the role in terms of leadership.

I wouldn’t be against Macca or Konate. The latter because he can be the main man after Van Dijk does leave and we want to keep him. 
 

Fair neg although I changed my Avatar to be great man because he should be everyone’s for this title run in. 
 

I’ve not given up on Darwin not by a long way. I’m still fighting to name one of my twins after him regardless of if they are girls are boys. Someone who is undoubted first choice and likely to be available for at least three-quarters of our games. So Mo or Macca. I’d go for Macca.
