Is it trust or does he have history of sticking to a core 12/13 players?

No idea, but he’ll need a bigger group than that for us to stay competitive next season, especially if we want to go deep in Europe again.

He even admitted this week that he should have rotated against Newcastle.

Eyes down for a full house...

"Start Chiesa"

"Start Endo"

Have we got any for "Start McConnell"???

Deepest apologies for having an opinion on a football forum match thread.

It is tiresome - every fucking week - about a team unbeaten in 25 games and currently 9 pts clear at the top - but hey "He's picked the wrong team.....AGAIN"

We've got no idea why he isn't starting.

So nothing is confirmed.

So not deffo about fitness as you stated earlier then - probably another case of "He's picked the wrong team"....

From my reading it seems more measured surprise at some of the selection, especially given the manager’s own comments this week about regretting not rotating and unacceptable levels of effort.

Or won 5 of the last 10, whichever way you see it

People are just frustrated after a really poor couple of games/results. Win tonight & the mood will pick up no end, win again on Sunday and it'll be largely forgotten about.

Jesus fucking Christ. Why is everything always an argument with you?

I questioned why a player who missed games for us, but then proceeded to play all but 13 minutes for his national team a week ago - isn't selected for a very important game for us. That's it.

Fuck me

No. It is the same shouts game after game and the same complaints about 'rotation' 'not liking player x' and so on.

I'd get it if 1. We weren't in position we were in and 2. If the players being called for were great or made more tactical sense etc.

No...You made a statement about a player 'not being fit enough to start' despite playing twice for his country - i asked you if it was fitness....instead of admitting you don't know - you tried to play the smart arse.

Putting your hands up and saying you didn't know would have saved an argument and you making yourself look soft.

I wonder which side they'll attack down this evening.

Offside hopefully. I await either anything can happen with us or this shits in the bag or any of the variances, either way someone eats humble pie or bullshits there way of it. Standard practice. The fence is sometimes comfortable we can’t all be Billy  Big Balls or Whingeing Arse

Are you suggesting there is something wrong with asking questions about anything because we are perfect?

Last 10 games

5 wins

3 losses

2 draws

A little record up for grabs tonight....

Can Liverpool beat Everton's 130-year-old record?published at 19:23 British Summer Time

19:23 BST

Liverpool v Everton (20:00 GMT)

Liverpool are unbeaten in 25 league games, the third longest top-flight run in their history.

Nottingham Forest are the only team to beat them in the league all season.

The Reds could become the first side in English top-flight history to score at least twice in as many as 27 of their opening 30 league matches in a season.

Liverpool currently share the record with... Everton, whose 26-game run took place in 1894-95.

I mean, it's a forum, people are going to share their thoughts on the line up.

I'd like to have seen Gakpo starting myself but happy to go with the manager.
