National treasure, seems like a lovely bloke, Comic Relief wouldn't exist without him.

Let this be a thread to his comedic genius.

Funny posts only please.

I worked with his ex wife’s husband for a couple of years.

Very funny bloke in the 80's in fairness. I remember his first appearance on comic relief as Theopolis P Wildebeest was hysterical. Loved the Delbert Wilkins series as well.

Came into Dixon’s once when he was filming in Liverpool and I had a Saturday job there. He was a loud, obnoxious, self-important entitled gobshite who wanted everyone to know he was present and thought he didn’t have to join the queue like your average Joe.

Just stood to one side of the customer at the head of the queue I was serving expecting me to serve him. Even coughed to try and get my attention, the massive twat. I ignored him and carried on serving the customers in my queue, but one of the other servile, snivelling little Saturday shits came over and sucked up to him, much to my annoyance.

He treated some little kid who asked for his autograph like shit.

I did serve Dawn French who was with him. She was quiet, waited her turn, and was lovely to deal with. Too good for that twat.

Is that enough of a contribution to his comedic genius?
