I'm the only one out of my wife and her entire family who doesn't have an iPhone. Can't be arsed with them, they're too heavy and the shops freak me out.

Brewdog. Owner is a massive, massive cunt.

French or Italian cars. Shite.

I don't have an iPhone as I can't stand them either. My youngest daughter has one now, but the rest of us have samsungs, prefer android to ios. My mates on the odd occasion I see them rip me for not having an iPhone which makes me all the more determined never to own one.

I did like Brewdog, especially Black Heart stout, and the staff in one of their Aberdeen pubs were sound with me, my autistic son, and our dog. Since then I've discovered the same info about the owners as you have and I won't touch them with a barge pole now.

I've never owned and Italian car, but my sister had a Punto and it was great.

I'm on my 3rd French car now, and for me they've mostly been great. Electrics aren't the best but they're nice to drive and own.

Mercedes. They market their cars and service on being top notch but they’re shite.

I spent a kings ransom on an electric car from them, then when it was 3 years and 2 months old with less than 40k on the clock the charging port just stopped working. It was 2 months outside the warranty and they charged me 4 grand to have it fixed and basically laughed in my face when I suggested that if they are breaking that quickly they aren’t fit for purpose.
And they didn’t even wash it which even somewhere like Arnold Clark will do even if you’re bringing it in for a service.
Never again. Bastards.

I never bought any brands to do with utd

So sharp, Vodafone etc.... Still won't.

But brands I don't really like. I don't dislike iPhone. I tried going back to one last year and lasted two days, I had to bring the phone back, I just couldn't adapt to it at all. I do think their fan boys are embarrassing so... Gunny brand loyalty they have is truly pathetic.

Puma is one of the sports brands I tend to stay away from.... All their stuff is just shite.

Oh, beko is another one. Their products just don't last do they. I tend to check which appliances aren't made in China, and then I pick from them.

Agreed.  25 years ago an ordered an E-Class Mercedes and had it delivered to work.  It arrived at lunchtime in the pissing rain.  I went down to pick it up, and thought I'd drive it around the block.  I'd literally just driven out of the car park when the (single)  windscreen wiper packed up.  Literally two minutes after getting in it.  Having said that, I later had an accident in a road tunnel in Brussels in the same car, where someone drive into the back of me.  His car was totally fucked, and after the police had sorted shit out, I was able to drive back to Blighty with barely a ding on the Merc.

British Gas, cunts.

When we moved in here we had BG homeserve for the boiler and they would service/repair it when needed.

After a few years, there was a cheaper option with another company so I went with them. They turned up and condemned the boiler, BG had botched a repair on the flue and carbon monoxide fumes 'could' blow back under the eaves into my son's bedroom via the under eave storage space. We complained as it was shocking but they told us as no harm had come to him we weren't entitled to any compensation FFS if only he'd died eh.

We took them to the ombudsman who made them refund all the payments we'd made since the repair as it was substandard.

I'll never go back with them and to say I don't like them is putting it mildly.

I was hit on the M56 in my C180 from behind, the bloke in the Ford Focus who hit me while he was fucking about with his radio had his front smashed to pieces. My car was bent out of shape ( and the insurance wrote it off) but it saved me from serious injury. Built like Panzers, or they were then.

I think all brands do my nut in. They all have only one aim, to increase value for the shareholders.

As @Section_31 points out with brewdog, they're particular pet hate of mine and the owner sums them up. They set out to be different. Brew better beer. Grow with the crowd funding, because they were not going to be like these businesses that take external investment and run the company in a way the owners don't want. They want to be ethical, good employers and make good beer.

And then the money takes over. First the beer is shite. They alter and change it to fit with the demands of HMRC, the supermarkets or fucking wetherspoons. They no longer care about better beer for consumers. The no longer care about being an ethical business or good employers. They just want to grow and get richer.

So I've a couple of companies I'll generally avoid. Brewdog is one..apple is another. Most of the others I just dip in and out and try and find a product that's best for me in the moment and fuck brand loyalty.

I know they are perfectly good cars but I would never buy a skoda. I don't care if they've got vw engines or whatever, it doesn't matter, it's the name.

I'd recommend trying to get over that; some of them are really nice.

Ha we've got one, it's okay. Our lease is nearly up on it.

I'm not arsed about car brands, just the practicalities of whether they're well made or not and won't break down. I always plump for vehicles built by the axis powers, except Italy.

We're getting a Nissan next purely because it was cheapish and not too small.

We had a CRV for a few years though which was an absolute tank, would buy one if I won the lottery.

Did you buy it in the end mate?

Nah, chickened out, I do buy their shirts and tshirts, quality is really good.

Nearly bought a Gant 2 in 1 for £350 but I was in between sizes and I'm not spending that kind of dough for something that isn't right.
