Have you heard how Irish Dermot Gallagher is when he speaks in his normal voice?  He tones it down for Sky Sports to the point you can't really hear it come through, but listened to him on a podcast called Quickly Kevin and it's ridiculously thick in comparison.

As an aside, Quickly Kevin was a fabulous listen.  Based on 90's football and had some incredible guests, but it's the fellas you don't think will be interesting who are including Jim Rosenthal, Tony Dorigo, Matt Lorenzo and the fella who created Sensible Soccer.  It's finished now, but what a catalogue of episodes they've got available, and because it's all about 90's football there's nothing about VAR or set piece coaches in there!  Presented by Josh Widdicombe who bores me shitless on the telly, but a talented podcast host who knows his stuff about the football way back when.

The 90s are 'way back when?' I'm not having that.

I’ll give that Quickly Kevin a go @Furmedge - nice one mate. Couldn’t find your post to rep and reply, just saw it on Vlad’s response, but I’ll rep you for the recommendation next chance I get.

I’ll neg you for a week every chance I get if it’s shit though, so it’s swings and roundabouts really

Ignore episode 1 then, Le Tissier.  Crack on with Paul Merson who I thought was brilliant in his own assessment of his drink/drugs binges and how he climbed out of it.  Matt Lorenzo and Jim Rosenthal episodes are great from a broadcasters point of view, talking about Italia 90 and USA 94, and as always James Richardson talking about Italian football of the decade.  The Miles Jacobsen one is top notch, too.  Mainly because I was obsessed with Champ Man/FM series when I was younger.

Some monumental bottlers here. We’re the best team in the country and vastly superior all over the pitch. A draw would be a disaster of a result.

Yep - with Villa and City away imminent, a poor result here means they both become must-wins unless we are happy to accept handing all the momentum to an Arsenal side with a generally easier of remaining fixtures.

Their corporate side is as petty as the fans are.

“Don’t worry ‘Tets laaaa, we’ll do it for you”

If there is one club that is guaranteed to end up with egg on their faces, it’s Everton.

For the return in April, after his 2006 OG, we should put Phil Neville’s crest fallen grid on the cover…

Reporting for duty, sah!

I'll be watching it on the telly box, so will be on this thread bemoaning every misplaced pass and generally predicting gloom.

Tonight’s programme cover. About as subtle as being hit on the thumb with a hammer. About as funny as well…

Fucking embarrassing but then I'd expect nothing less from these small time cunts.

So have we boxed off what an aggressive boo is yet?

How aggressive can you boo before it just becomes a full throated shout?

Because you can only boo to a certain point before it becomes a scream surely?
