Not necessarily a good thing, a postponement. Could be rescheduled for an even worse time.

Wouldn't be the worst either if it meant having Ali, Ibou, Jota, Kostas back.

Just request to the league to play it during the next internationals and be done with it.

Looks like conditions are going to be absolutely terrible for this.

If these reports are correct then the game could even be at risk of postponement.

If it does go ahead then it's going to suit them a lot more than us too!

We should go as strong as possible and rest this entire team next week.

Mac is suspended so just play him and the kids against Girona.

Mac is also suspended for Girona, isn’t he?

Out of interest I read we are already into the knockout phase of the CL missing the 2 extra games. Is that right? Can't be arsed looking at the maths.

No but it's very likely. There's still plenty of teams that could get more than 15 points in the event that we lost all our last 3 games.

The helpful thing is that in the next round of fixtures a lot of the teams near us play each other or have tricky games. 2nd placed Inter play 6th placed Leverkusen, 3rd and 4th placed Barcelona and Dortmund play each other, Atalanta play Real Madrid, 7th and 8th placed Arsenal and Monaco play each other too.

Cant add more than that really.

Hope the disappointment of not getting all 3 points last night, added to the fact the players will know they let themselves and us (eg supporters) down last season, will spur them on.

Lets sign off at Jurassic Park by beating them so heavily they’ll never forget it.

Just. Fucking. Win.

Storm Darragh. All this because he lost a chase.

Yeah I saw that earlier today.

For the Girona game I'd go with Kelleher, Endo, Morton, Elliott, Chiesa, Nunez and then five more youngsters.

Sounds about right, and same again for the League Cup. We didn’t win the League or CL by going full throttle in every round of every competition.

If it was off it could take place the following day as the weather will have cleared up by then - but can bet your life it won't as tv will no doubt call the shots.

We need 3 more points to be sure to finish top 8, but we don’t have the hardest games left with all my respect to Girona, Lille and PSV. Regular starters need a break so that means a lot of turnover for the next CL game hopefully.

I normally don’t mind Sean Styles on Radio Merseyside even though he’s a massive blue. He’s done some Dave Kirby style poem thing for the last derby at “the old lady” and it’s cringe worthy beyond belief. I hope we put 5 past them and Nunez gets 4. The last decent thing Everton had at “the old lady” was that Rooney goal against Arsenal before he fucked her and got of to United.
