I remember some of you cunts when we won the league, flapping when we had about a 20 point lead.

7 points is still a great lead and we will be fine.

Yeah remember this too imagine shitting the bed over a 20 point lead we are in good shape win the derby and it’s a great week

Funny game. On the whole, it's not a bad result, but it's hard to be positive about dropping points like that.

Kell was awful on that goal. I rate him and he'll learn from it. Cost us two points .

Where do I start with Nunez. He's a player I'd half enjoy if he didn't play for us. The anti-Jota player. Jota is as clinical as fuck and makes the difference in those tight games - his only problem is he is injured so often. If we keep him fit, it's huge. Lucho made a difference.

With the other three winning, it's not a good night but I would have felt they all would win and I knew tonight would be a rough game, so perspective is needed.

It'll have been a good week if we win at Goodison, yeah, but I think the difference is that this time around we've done something we never did once we got far out ahead that season, and allowed the chasing pack to edge closer. If we do something ridiculous and drop more points this side of the New Year, the pressure will increase exponentially. Arsenal have a fixture list that makes it hard for them to drop any points before May and City are guaranteed to sign a quality DM and go on one of their usual runs as soon as we enter 2025. Who knows what Chelsea will do...

It wasn’t just Nunez missing chances. Several moves broke down due to him losing the ball with misplaced passes.

Tbh that annoys me the most about him. He's not always bad in that regard but he's always a bit slow to make a decision, tbh you can trace all of his weak points back to his concentration and tendency to hesitate.

Just infuriating. You knew this kind of result was on the cards. The temptation is to say at least it wasn't against the blueshite, but the truth is we couldn't have afforded to drop points against either. I just hope a lesson's been learned (that shouldn't have needed learning).

Oh yes: and Clive fecking Tyldsley can feck off back into retirement.

Everton was always going to be a horrible game. Whether it's modern Everton or 1985 Everton, any game against them is going to be street battles. Like United, it will always be one of our toughest 5/6 away games.

Taking aside Kell's horror mistake and Nunez being Nunez, I thought we looked a lot better in the second half. Stating the obvious as we could have been two or three down at half time.

7 points from City and two horrible aways would be a great return. Saturday is huge though. Go there and win - don't play the occasion which is what we do too often in the derby.

I don’t think it was leggyness.  We were making the same bad passes all night.  Like it was clearly a tactic to pass the ball into certain areas but Newcastle had set up to press those places at the right time.  We just repeatedly kept playing them regardless.  Gomez was probably the worst culprit and I wasn’t surprised when he came off but Quansah doesn’t look like the same player.  It’s weird with him because his confidence is clearly rattled but then he’s still makes unbelievably arrogant decisions on the ball.

The Kelleher decision to leave it is another example of this virus that seems to go through the team when we play these type of opponents.  We get cocky and take stupid risks that are unnecessary.  Against City or Madrid Kelleher tries to grab that ball or punches it but he thinks to himself it will waste more time to let it run out.  It’s infuriating.

People can try and make out as though this result is okay but in reality it’s not.  We seen it with the referee again today.  They will subtly  try to influence games with these early yellow cards.  If we are going to win the league we need to be out of sight like last time.  Dropped points always lead to more as well.  As others have said I wouldn’t be surprised to see a draw on the weekend and some more injuries to go along with it.

Love the diehards on here. We have a poor performance in which we get a point away from home in a game which, somehow, we should have won and the bitch chorus are screaming and pissing their pants all over the place. Embarrassing fucking cunts.

Tbh I have to agree. The match threads are always aids. Harsh but lots of over the top drama.

lets get evan ferguson . i kid.

also, godo that we have a game in a few days. gives us chance to bounce back quick - hoping we dont drop poinst there

Great talent that kid, but injuries have fucked up his rythm. I think he'll bounce back and be a top player, but we need the finished article. Imagine Isak in our team.

Pray to baby Jesus that Jota comes back and stays fit. At least Gakpo and Lucho are pretty clinical. Mo is Mo - what a fucking player.

How do you have any idea what's going to happen? If that equaliser doesn't go in you're not saying any of this.
