Nunez is here until the end of the season, at that point he'll almost certainly be sold. There is no way he's sold in Jan. What you'd have to hope is that he's not having to start the bulk of games for us from now until then.

Yup, generally steered clear of bashing the lad because it's obvious he isn't up to scratch anyway, but tonight he just got worse as the game went on, it wasn't even so much the missed chances that did my nut in but the segment where he fucked up two simple passes under no pressure, at that point his own team mates even seemingly decided to just play round him.

 

Id be all for selling him in January but the tight cunts that own us won't sanction the money to find someone to move for in his place so I expect we are going to have to watch more performances like that this season given Jotas unreliability.

I don't think anyone's being an entitled quim or saying Kelleher needs to be sold or anything. He's been excellent while Alisson's been out, he was dreadful tonight, it happens.

 

But Alisson will come back in, because he's a better goalkeeper. Nothing wrong with saying that. He's a better goalkeeper than basically anyone else on the planet.

Draw probably a good result given performance but when you go ahead that late it’s always dissapointing. Kelleher has been pretty much flawless for us but had a real stinker, Darwin was appalling.

Kelleher didn’t misjudge that, he knew what he was doing, it was a bad choice. He was probably still 98% right to do it, but the Newcastle player got the touch of his life there. 
 

But in those situations, catch it easily (I think he could have) and drop down to the ground to waste time.  
 

He’ll learn from it you’d hope. No keeper is perfect.
