In Chiesa's case you don't miss what you never had

Hopefully get one or two back soon

2 keepers and 17 year old Nyoni on bench today.

I trust sky, bbc site etc are leading heavily with 'depleted liverpool' etc given our injuries and way they did just that when arsenal and indeed the cheats had a couple out....

Yeah can't argue that mate. Only one I could find at the time.

Sound - it is a bit of a running theme on here - so was in no way aimed at you....it is very much aimed at the stupid gets in club who for whatever reason post it how they do though!

Guardiola’s inability or spite in not recognising Palmer as a first team player strikes me as someone on the way to losing the plot.

Still, not confident for today, big loss for our defensive solidity. I’ll be happy with any type of Reds win.

Palmer does what he wants and is brilliant, completely against the snide, shithouse, midfield metronomic skill gnomes he prefers.

I don't think they were keen to sell him, but as an academy player, his sale was pure profit, so highly beneficial for the bottom line.

Probably, but if Guardiola was the genius he’s heralded as, he’d surely have seen the talent and blocked the sale. I reckon Bruce has a point.

I think it's Haaland-related. They went in a particular direction and Foden might have been too similar to Palmer.

Where they still not playing with a 9 every week like in years prior, they could have used Palmer as a moveaple piece. 9, on the right, in midfield, etc...
