I had no idea they'd won 6 leagues. I don't give a shit, the cheating cunts.

All those medals belong in the bin. Entitled twats.

You, me and most of the country. That’s what eats them up inside. Complete lack of recognition or interest.

“The Egyptian’s future will continue to be the subject of speculation. He deserves better than the crazy invective directed towards him over the past week.

No Premier League player is more important to his team than Salah is to Liverpool. It seems odd, in a sport ruled by the power of money, to see him attacked for seeking financial acknowledgement of that fact.

If Liverpool want to pay him, they can pay him. The club won’t go broke. If they don’t want to pay up, he’ll go and good luck to him. He’ll owe the club nothing if he does. This season’s performances have shown that, wherever his future lies, Salah’s present is consecrated entirely to the cause of Liverpool. It has been ever since he arrived. No one is less deserving of loudmouth lectures on loyalty.”

i thought the pass for the 1st goal is even better (trent's, not Mo's, which was also good). i am sure i have mentioned before, our seat is great, high, but close enough for a good view. with that, you can get frustrated as you see lots of shape and opportunities to move the ball that there's no way the players will see on the pitch. it is incredibly rare to see a pass that you didn't see the possibility of. but that was the case with that pass. it wasn't just the way he opened them up. it was the players that would have been blocking his view to make it. it was an astounding pass from where i was sitting and i was still lapping the pass up when gakpo scores.

Exactly, that was amazing, I’m still in awe. That’s one the  reason why Trent is so unique in our team and in current football. He has a rare ability to deliver this kind of pass, brillant really. That was Platini playing.

Robbo’s pass for Gakpo chance was also superb, the move made the pass that made the goal that should have been …

It's a good job we didn't let his contract run down so he can sign for someone else next month.

Well they're (Media) certainly milking the "getting sacked in the morning " chant.  Heaven forbid fans have sense or humour occasionally.   I look forward to the debate about tragedy chanting on Wednesday night/Thursday morning .

Oh, wait.  Yeah...

Still waiting to find out who threw those coins and spat at the bench and now this. Just disgraceful. They do like to play these cards a lot after playing us.

How badly they defeats is fucking fantastic.

Honestly, I bet there isn't a weekend where across the professional leagues, that song isn't sung. It's never once been remarked upon and I can't recall a time when the song wasn't sung - and often at managers who can't afford to lose their jobs. Maybe it's newer than I think, but I don't think so. Then we sing it to him and it's attracting the same headlines as if we were racist chanting. It's fucking remarkable.

If it hadn't been sung the headline would probably have been 'Liverpool fans disrespect Pep by ignoring him'.

I can't ever remember a time when it wasn't sung at every ground in the country, going all the way back to the 80s.

We've probably done it less than anyone, and even yesterday was more of a joke than anything as nobody thinks his job is under threat.

He has a bit of personality and our lads seem to like him, judging by his interactions during the game with Mo, Szloboszlai and Virgil.

Throwing the ball Gabriel’s head was pretty funny too, as was his attitude to Arsenal after that game.

We should put in an £8m offer to his crisis-stricken club.

Can't stand the prick but yeah the Gabriel thing is one of the funniest things I've seen in ages.

Him and Dom are really good mates from when they played together. Mo was probably warning him that he's taking back the Golden Boot.

I'm surprised more hasn't been made of Guardiola's 360" applause to all 4 corners of Anfield. We know he loves it, we know he's jealous of it and we know he knows the affect it has on us and them. That applause was that of a man who knows he'll never be back.

I thought it was good, dare I say classy, as was his jokey demeanour during the match. Made it more surprising to hear him slag the crowd off but he’s a strange passive aggressive chap.

Lad on the LFC Rattle forum (RAOTL) got hit by one of them near the coach park:

There was some fat bald brummie City fan stood outside his coach (well

it was a minibus) gobbing off at anyone walking past, wouldn’t be surprised if it was him and his goons. I was hoping some Scouse kid cleaned him out.

Good.

I didn’t hear such chants on the TV coverage. I didn’t hear anything at all from the City fans though, to be honest. Really quiet.

The coverage I had mentioned there were big gaps in the city support section.
