What would your starting XI be?

Specifically the front 6?

Obviously we all hate England and hope they lose 8-0 and no Liverpool players are involved etc etc, but quite curious how people on here would balance their attacking options?

They’ve got a lot of quality players, but trying to put them in a functional 11 without it being 1) unbalanced or 2) murdered by the press and their cunt fans seems a tricky one.

Rice Foden

Palmer Bellingham Gordon

Kane

Jones would rotate with the two midfielders, and Saka with Palmer.

The goalkeeper and defence are fucking dreadful though.

The goak

Surprised at no Saka so him and Gordon give you the width.

I want that from the fullbacks. The strength of the team is the attacking midfielders, the team should be built to reflect that.

Saka is an option from the bench, like Watkins, to go a bit more direct in the last 20 minutes.

I think the issue with that is none of the English fullbacks actually provide width. You're not gonna get it with Trent or a decrepit Walker/Trippier, or Rico Lewis. And then on the left side, there's just no one effective, period.

Who is the left back to provide that width?

Any notion of going with a false 9, or is Kane too good/powerful in the media?

Tuchel will probably play a back 3 and he is tactically good enough that he could make it work.

Dropping Kane and playing a 4-2-4 with Bellingham and Foden/Palmer doing a double false 9 thing makes sense as well but Kane's not going anywhere.

Left back, not arsed. Just someone left footed and quick. Mitchell?

Yeah maybe Bellingham. Although Kane would be playing like that anyway.

England should play with a back 3 to accommodate Trent as a winger. Should have always been the way with a striker like Kane ready for it.

Trent and Foden need to be running the match, but I’m still not sure how to put it all together with Bellingham, Palmer and Kane.
