People unironically having a bitter argument about Jimi Hendrix guitar solos, as a sub plot to the mancs farce, is fantastic by the way. Top TLW action.

It's great, not a big Hendrix fan but had to have a listen to 'Drivin' South' and I loved it, the Jazz feel to it, much better than the usual manic stuff he did.

Come on Pete, I think we all know the reason they are protesting.

Because they’re Manc cunts?

Well there is that. But who’s top of the league? Tends to focus minds. If it was Man City they wouldn’t be as arsed. Because it’s us they are struggling to process reality.

Garnacho has to pay for dinner for the team. Disguising cost cutting as punishment now.

I can’t believe nobody is comparing this to when Fernandes offered to pay for staff to go to the cup final and was told he wasn’t allowed.
I guess they can’t can’t treat other staff like human beings if they’re lower on the pay scale.

I read, or listened to, something earlier in the week that said the plan is to get down to Europa League levels of expenditure and to run the club at that level for the next 3 to 5 year before starting to ramp up spending again from a sounder footing.

They're going to need to shed some huge contracts over the next few windows.

Wonder how they'll finance the stadium then. Because neither him or the Glazers will pay for it. Either a few hundred million into fixing it or billions on a new stadium.

I wish we could have a bitter argument about the Kinks, love Ray Davies, but seems to me nobody cares really.

Saw him do a play and tell gig about 25 years ago, spoke about the band forming, the falling out etc and played about 15 songs.

Brilliant night.

One of the greatest songwriters this country has ever produced.

But, for the sake of argument...

SHITE!

Isn't the overlap predominantly ex Mancs just wanking about "Sir Alex" during the 90s and 00's?.

I don't mind it, it's decent chat, Wright and Keane are great on it.

This week's was a good show, particularly 1 hour in when they start talking about the mess Manchester United are in and Keane rips into Wright for supporting Fernandes as captain.

Brilliant night.

Saw him in 94 at UEA in Norwich, met him when they arrive on the campus. Greatest day of my life obviously. Saw him again in Paris, at Olympia aro Bd 20 years ago as well , small venue, He played unplugged half the concert, that was great.

Too bad He couldn’t do a Paul McCartney, writing good stuff once the 60’ were over.

I'm a bit funny with The Kinks, love Autumn Almanac & a handful of other songs but can take or leave most of their other stuff. Not sure why either. I played some of their stuff in a covers band and it was good fun to play.

I reckon they had enough bitter arguments within the band without the rest of us joining in anyway.

Used to love playing this one...

Stadium will sit outside of that in the same way it has for Spurs.

I listened to a full episode for the first time while doing something in work, hoping to hear Neville choke on his own bile.

It's complete shite, just three or four egomaniacs talking over each other constantly. Can't believe people actually pay money to watch it live.

It won't go on FFP but it still needs paid for and if there finances are a shot as reported how do they do it without a massive loan and more interest payments. Neville said that Ineos injected about 300ml a few months back and it'd nearly all gone. They are apparently hemorrhaging money. The only hope they have of CL is the Europa and sadly that competent is full of bad teams. They have Sociedad next then the winners of Lyon and Bucharest. Get through that and it's one of Fenerbache,Rangers,Roma and Bilboa. So they as bad as they are look likely to make the semi final minimum

By Europa league budget they mean getting the wage bill and day to day running costs right down.
