Someone's Having a Real Laugh - How long before Amorim gets a hammering

Hoping for a old school 1980s Manc derby that's a goal scoring draw and a few red cards each. Would love it to complete boil over. The cave troll to smash the little hobbit Amad, Dias to lay out Smeagol Fernandes and then Amorim and Baldy to have a full on slap fight

"They went out and poached Ashworth, Jason Wilcox, etc, and still have this jobber and his scruffy patron seemingly running the football operation. It looks very much like typical United behavior - bring in a few big names that the higher ups probaly read about in the papers, and cook up some LinkedIn shite about having the "best in class" in a desperate attempt to be appear to be the big dogs again. They're going nowhere, and it's absolutely glorious."

I posted the above on the Ten Hag thread (how great is it that there are multiple topics on their continued failures). I wish I could claim some keen foresight but it's just common sense they would hamstring themselves with their own hubris. That's the real United Way.

I'm starting to think the Glazers are some of the smartest business people in the world. They bilked £1.25 billion off a substantially richer man for him to be their lightening rod.

I actually don't think the Glazers were the problem at all. They gave every manager (a lot of them) more money than almost any other and yet it still wasn't enough. We have owners that barely spend a penny in comparison and have won more of the prime trophies than they have.

Their fans are like Everton's, but with an actual history of success.

Yep, they've given their fans exactly what they have always demanded -  opening the coffers to buy shiny new toys. They only saw their arse about things when the on-field results kept being shite. Then, it was all about the leaky roof and outdated training ground.

It'll be interesting to see if Neville, after spending years on his anti-Glazer soapbox, will speak out against "Sir Jim". I suspect he won't say a word about it, the obsequious little toad.

He can't speak out against it. This is what he wanted!

It's such a long way back for them now too. They are miles behind us and Arsenal even Chelsea  have overtaken them on the pitch. Clubs like Brighton have better players and a better structure.

Brexit Jim is old and decrepid, just like the team and Stadium. I genuinely think that things are going to keep getting worse too as they need so many new players yet they are in danger of breaking the PSR rules.

if they go out and sell players (was it yesterday they were saying pretty much the whole team is up for sale?), there's a good chance they will return some profit, that allows them to at least be able to buy in the short term. They'll find a way round PSR, brexit Jim is a tax dodger, so he has plenty of people on his pay role looping for loopholes.

The problem for them is they will struggle to get rid of the players they need to move on. The likes of Shaw, Rashford and Mount are all on massive contracts. I don't see them generating much unless they start doing the dodgy over inflated academy sales.

Neville will say fuck all.

He’s on the ground/area development board, far to much cash to be made from being on the inside of that for him.
