I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re targeting Amorim simply because the press have been linking him to City to replace Guardiola. Probably think they’re getting one over on them. Let’s hope it ends up as successful as Alexis Sanchez who was bought with a similar philosophy.

A club that sits 14th in the table 7 points off relegation. A manager that wants to implement his own style of play and probably expects time to implement it, regardless of results in the short term. With no premier league experience either.

If they'd done it last summer you could see the logic in it, but them acting like this just reassures me that they're still a clownshow and won't be any sort of threat for the foreseeable future.
