Really good performance so far, Grav and Jones playing really well - Jones already showing much more intelligent distribution and retention than Szob.  Tsimikas showing better technique and speed of thought than Robertson, and Gakpo's movement and intelligence an improvement on Diaz's patchy involvement.  Jota's energy, movement and intelligence causing all sorts of problems for their back line.  MacAllister being quietly ineffective - poor distribution and easily bypassed - needs to improve in the second half, but apart from that, the team putting in a really cohesive, assertive performance today.  Keep it going reds.

Ice being applied to his thigh…..early knock? Or excuse?

That's completely the opposite of what's been happening.  Tsimikas has run ahead of Gakpo every time he's laid the ball off.  And to compare his technique with Robertson is laughable.  You know that unless there are acres of space to run into, the ball is going to be played backwards every time with Robbo, as he only has one foot.  It's depressing to watch.  Tsimikas is primarily left footed, but can play with his right, and does.  He has real technical ability, and is the best corner taker in the squad.

Agree. His feet and touch are much better than Robbo, more two footed as well.
