Poor performance. Seen this movie too many times before - too easy, lack intensity, drop points - thankfully not today.

Learn from it, don’t perform like that next week (either match).

Gravenberch has been the best midfielder in the Premiership this season.

Totally disagree. The entire fucking world!

Must be something else going on for him. Surely not that upset over this particular game.

They're bottom of the league, they were absolutely stiffed by refs all of last season, and he's probably expecting the same this year and losing his job.

Funny to see Konate and Grav there! Seem to get on really well. Was funny that Konate didn’t want to give Grav the MoM award because he thought he deserved it more!

Not sure Konate can complain after their goal and his performance for the 10 mins afterwards!

Personally, I think Alisson should have collected it, however, Konate’s performance was rocked afterwards. Probably both at fault.

To be a point clear after six games is a brilliant start from Slot, especially given that most of the squad were back late.

Took Milan and West Ham to the cleaners in the cups too.

My big fear was that we’d have a slow start, and that he’d be constantly, negatively compared to Klopp from day one.

He inherited a really good squad, but the revitalisation of Gravenberch, Konate and Diaz is hugely encouraging in terms of the Slot and his backroom’s abilities.

They asked Slot about it and he said Konate must have forgotten his part in our goal! He’s just so honest - love it!
Konate was joking about in that interview.

Hopefully not that soon, I haven’t even had my bath and talc’d my arse yet. I’ve got a bottle of Matey upstairs and a Cadbury’s Secret bar in the fridge.

Haha. Secret bars were great. They were made by Rowntree, though.

I think I agree.

Has their been any coaches who had great starts and then fell away the more they coached the players and changed it?

Not saying it will happen to Slot, genuine question. Can’t really remember it with the bigger clubs, although taking over from a good position isn’t a normal situation.

Why - that is his position and he has said he has started to learn how to defend better from the new manager.

That is expected.

Players improving with coaching? Blasphemy.

I mean @Red74 posted about him a lot, but don't remember many others.

Edit: code too?

Hahahah. Imagine remembering me you little snitch.  He was fucking shite though last season. Let’s not forget quansah was getting starts ahead of him every week from Juergen.

Fair play to him, he’s played well since coming back into the team. More than happy to be proved wrong.  Now wait till I start on that fucking Hungarian

In their interview Gravenberch was laughing about Konate’s defending for the goal. They were messing about. They were laughing even before the interview had started.

Loved the bit at the end about MotM and Grav saying “thanks Gary“ and laughing his head off.

When you do start on him hopefully you can spell his name right.
