No he did not.

But more importantly, why did he stop that ball to Salah and slowed everything down instead?

The milan left back clearly played him onside. How the fuck can you be wrong on so many things?

Comfortable win after a nightmare start, would've been easy for the players to get their heads down and think "Here we go again" but they responded well and bar a few moments in the second half after we made it 3-1 completely controlled the game. I thought Jota overall was poor. Gakpo and Gravenberch were excellent. Szoboszlai really good in the second half too and got a goal for his effort, which hopefully helps his confidence. Gomez had a bit of nightmare when he came on but fortunately he was bailed out by Ali and his fellow teammates. Darwin again had trouble getting into the game but by that point in the game we weren't exactly playing with a bunch of urgency going forward and a few of his teammates that had been on longer were taking chances for themselves rather than looking to assist. A good performance overall, not perfect by any means but the other team are professionals too. Much much better than the disappointment on the weekend.

Great response following Saturday's loss. Heads could have easily dropped after conceding the early goal, but the response was perfect and we just seemed to be completely on top after that until we eased off a bit towards the end. Good to see Szoboszlai have a good game after the weekend. Gakpo did well and did his chances of getting more starts no harm at all.

Thought that was good to watch mostly and relieved that we ended up winning, two defeats in a row and Slot's first in the CL could've caused a lot of doubt to start up. I didn't think there'd have been any harm in bringing Chiesa on earlier too but hoping he gets more time to play over the next few games.
