Look at how bad we were after the changes today....OK we were off it today before them, but after them we were totally clueless - I hope this isn't the case and these players who will come in will be ok with new ideas - but they looked miles off today. I suppose not being in training over last week or so and them all lacking mins under Slot is part of the issue but if they are struggling to adapt then we are going to potentially struggle

Never been a fan of making 3 subs at once, leaves too much of a warming up period for a third of the team at once. Asking for trouble.

Poor performances aside, as that can happen early in the season, I wasn’t impressed with Slot’s subs.

 

Get as many attacking players on as you can is quite primitive and something needed to be done about Salah, too.

Klopp did that attacking overload thing occasionally too when we were trailing. I don’t ever recall it working. We just look completely disjointed.

There's ways to lose football matches. That wasn't one of them.

 

Honestly that was like watching a Sunday league game. Forest got physical from he first minute, rattled us and threw the players off their game. To not find an answer to that in 95 minutes is really bad.

 

We played so bad today, bad touches, players running into each other, shit passes, no cohesion. Slot needs to realise Anfield is a small pitch. If you can't go through the middle, go out wide and make sure we have a proper structure out wide to create chances and break teams down. The support play once we got the ball into those positions was shit. 

 

Only one game, after internationals, so hopefully it's just tiredness. But that kind of performance can't become a regular thing. It was fucking dire. 

 

They always had an out ball too. Forest got their distances perfect. You can't be out thought by Nuno Espirito De Santo. An eye opener for Slot today that was.
