Ali, Konate, Gravenberch (MotM) and Diaz can hold their heads up.

The rest were poor. Especially Salah. Can’t comment on Jones as he came on the pitch and promptly disappeared from this plane on existence.

Anyway, learning curve for Slot. He started better than we could have ever expected but he has work to do.

Finally, not happy having to rely on Spurs to keep Arsenal from the door.

An absolutely terrible performance and result.

So flat and at times so sloppy too.

Never really looked like scoring and were unable to sustain any pressure and rhythm for long enough to really get anything going as game was just made bitty all day.

International bollocks break deffo not helping - but it is a problem we have to deal with and we failed miserably today.

After such a positive start to the season that is some kick in the teeth and a real, real low.

Frankly we didn't deserve much more today and that is the real killer - it was that bad - that is an abysmal performance and an abysmal result - but one we pretty much deserved.

How we react to this now is of course what matters, but that was poor, really fucking poor.

Jota has had very little chances created by us in the last few games.

Nunez, nothing in this game. Gakpo the same.

There's possession for possession sakes but you need to fucking shoot to fucking score

It's nothing to do with that. We were trying to force everything and couldn't get control, especially in the second half. Thought we were alright in the first half, expected them to calm it down in the 2nd but it was more of the same, trying to force things and getting caught in possession.

If your main game plan isn't working, just get it wide and get crosses into the fucking box. Pressure causes problems for teams and it's percentage football.

This has been awful from everyone today.

We need to be careful in our throwing the baby out with the bath water, but from a structural point of view, and a mentality point of view, we were found massively wanting by a fucking set of no marks that could only hit us on the break and we fell into their trap like a shower of stupid cunts.

That goal we conceded was as naive as you could possibly get.

Kick the cunt before the pass, and Bradley left him onto his stronger foot! How fucking thick could you fucking get?

A huge set back for us today that nobody saw coming and hopefully we can bounce back.

Amazing what a week in football does.

Agree on the fsg thing. But the players out there were poor today. Forced, passes behind the runner. Shape went to shit. So poor

Nunez I thought would have come on and caused his usual chaos, he has a point to prove and in my opinion is fighting for his future at Liverpool, but he was subdued, quite and generally missing (shouldn't have been shoved off the ball for the goal either) Gakpo has been the same this season comes on doesn't do much.

Didn't create any clear cut chances, and Forest stayed compact. This will happen again if we can't be more creative in the final third.

Would be easier if we didn't have to bring on lost causes like The Greek and Darwin

100% down to the break. The players haven't been training with the squad so they'll not have the things they've been learning fresh in mind. Over the months this will happen less as they fully learn new habits and patterns etc. Not too worried, says nothing about the players ability etc, we'll get the odd game like this where they revert to type a bit but it takes some time to take everything on board.

Klopp's sheer force of personality and will won us so many matches and points, particularly last year.  We can't possibly replicate that with Slott (can we?). Expectations need to be adjusted.

But then we'd be hitting shit crosses that no one gets near and we'd be moaning about that. It never works for us, most of our forward line aren't competing against grock center backs.
