The predictable part of that is that you just can't create at a not very high volume and expect the goals to flow. It's all well and good beating United 0-3 with 3 shots on target, but it's not a replicable result. We aren't creating enough chances.

And on top of that, we have the same forwards as ever, plus Szoboszlai who isn't proving to be very good technically, so you know the finishing isn't generally going to be very good. Chiesa won't improve that either.

Also, I wonder if people will overreact the other way on a Salah contract renewal after that absolute stink bomb of a performance. It would be only fair.

It's just because of the international break. The players haven't been training together, those little habits will slip out of mind whilst they're away. We'll get the odd game like this until it's all become habit. Just little things like picking the wrong pass, trying to play the Hollywood ball every time.

We conceded because we tried to walk the ball through a tight area with about 50 players in the way. Bit of sloppiness too where the final ball is rushed or the forward is caught flat footed.

We'll be fine in the next game, we probably did enough to win, just a bit sloppy and trying to force everything.

Absolute shocker of a result that. We can look at the ref & the international break for excuses but the truth is, they wanted it more & that is simply not good enough.

Bradley's had a nightmare there too but I don't think we should be laying into the kid after a poor cameo.

Sore one.
