Octopus's Garden, which is likely to mean other songs feature the word Octopus too.

I swore The Beatles had deliberately got the formatting of the pluralisation wrong writing it the way I did), nonetheless, the way it's pluralised needs to be duplicated for it to be discounted, not Octopus!

45 songs according to lyric.com though I’d never heard of any of them. It seems to be used as a simile in lots of rap songs.

This is the problem, google is ruining this. How do we know any of those 45 songs are in any way popular or successful and not some bell end getting his guitar out at a house party?

I agree. I’m not checking the other 25. I think it’s a reasonable rule that the duplicate has to appear in a song by an established artist not some kid in his mum’s box room. On that basis I think octopuses is legitimate.

'Some kid in his Mum's box room' is just describing the top 40 for the last decade.

O - I would be surprised if there was another song with this in.

Who’s inneath The Ooser-Rod?
Horny devil? Goaty God?
What is God in ethly guise?
One or mampus giant eyes?

From the PJ Harvey song "A Child's Question, July"

From the lyrics notes:

Ooser-Rod – a devil’s penis, abnormally large; ‘The Dorset Ooser’ (/ˈoʊsər/) – also oose or wu’se. A mask with grim jaws, put on with a cow’s skin to frighten folk.

Brilliant suggestion but see also the Good, the bad and the Queen.
I think they count as an established band.
