That interview Ali did a while back where he basically listed all the options, go, see out his contract or extend, I felt enough of that interview leant into the idea Ali is not against the money on offer from Saudi and the club have said you can go after this season. Doesn't mean it'll happen, Ali might push to stay and if he does, I think we'll move Marmaduke on or keep loaning him for good fees (I've mentioned before I'd not be shocked if he never plays for us). But my gut tells me Ali is gone next summer.

Don’t remember that one, do remember him coming out saying he doesn’t want to leave though.

?Maybe same interview with different emphasis.

That's another possible option but these Saudi deals might not be eternal, for all we know.

I'm sure it'll be there next summer.

Maybe it's the same one..the one I read was long, he talked about thinking about leaving last summer when all the goalie team was going. Keeping taffarel helped him stay. He knows about the money on offer in Saudi, but he didn't want it now, but it has it's appeal or something. And he talked to LFC about them starting continuity planning for him. Then he said who knows what the future holds, I might leave this summer, I might see out my contract, I might sign a new contract, but all of that is down to LFC.

The one I remember he said he appreciated the club keeping him informed of the Georgian lad signing but he wants to stay at the club.

Just get Osimhen or Gyokwan. Seriously, it's fucking easy. It's not like we spend money anyway.

Gyokeres might be the most interesting transfer prospect in years. A soon to be 27 year old who was playing in the Championship 3 years ago, that has now seemingly turned into the terminator.

If what he is doing is real, every single club except City should be trying to sign him. But is it real...

Destined for United now, surely?

Hard to say. He is the manager's guy, but he isn't at the start of his career. If he wants to win, he would be wise to sidestep them.

They'd also be admitting defeat on Hojlund.

So, about Holland… I have a sneaking feeling he could be a very good, prolific player in the right set up with the right manager. Don’t tell anybody I said this.

I seen his hattrick against City and his 4 goals for Sweden. Nothing about any of the 7 goals smelt like true class. He looks like the classic purple batch centre forward. If I was Sporting I'd be cashing in on January 1st.

Matheus Cunha?

Only 25, christ I thought he was 31 or something.

He's great now, wasn't great a year ago, I'm tempted to swerve him as we'd get taken to the fucking cleaners on the fee.

I'd rather we spent big on 16 year olds and see if we can land a couple of jackpots.

The only way I'd pay big money for a forward would be if Vinicius Jr got bored of being racially abused each week. He's done Madrid young, he might be bored soon.

I like Cunha. I used to think he could be like a shitty version of Bobby for us who might come good. He could still be that for us but maybe less shitty. I’d still rather have a forward who does that kind of stuff over an out and out striker but fuck knows what position our goals are gonna come from if Mo fucks off.

Most of the Portuguese league is sub-championship level.

His first goal against City was nice, good strength and hit it into the ground to knock it over the keeper.

But most of the Portuguese league is around Championship level anyway, if that. He's developed into a good player, but he's not the next Haaland or anything.

He also seems to play a lot like Nunez in terms of trying to run in behind, we don't get much change from that approach.
