There's loads of good wide players. Many more than good 9's.

I'd say there are far more on the left wing. Can't think of that many on the right who we could actually go and get and who are guaranteed to be a success more than Mbeumo/Semenyo. The youngsters out there are a risk

There always will be as more as only 10% of people are left footed, and the vast majority of wide players play on the opposite side to their strongest foot.

At the age of 24, Semenyo has scored 12 goals in top flight football. He'd be a pretty big risk as well.

I agree he would

I like him but not sure if he could make tbe step up as a starter. I'd like him as a squad option though. Mbeumo would be more likely to adapt imo.

If you look at left wingers Williams, Kvaratskhelia,Leao(would t go near him to be honest, lazy fucker) there's options that are more proven.

We arnt getting Yamal. So your looking at someone that can make tbe step up. Do you go for a Semenyo/Mbeumo that have shown something in the league or a Bakyoko that's looked good in Holland but not stood out in Europe or for Belgium yet

I think the ideal is to have a left and right footer on the wings, but you're not limited to that.

I think one of the best potential options is Frimpong on the right, who provides great width, a dynamic left back on the other side, and then every other forward can play centrally.

I like Frimpong, think he could also be frustrating with his finishing

Just watching the Bournemouth v City game. That Kekez at left back is impressive.

Yeah, I like him as well.

Is it true Tchouameni has been made available at Real Madrid? Interesting. Obviously turned us down before, is liking tweets saying he wanted to stay at Real Madrid such a crime?

I’d be tempted to offer a loan move & see how it goes.

I still think we need another quality addition in midfield. We all saw the benefit of Endo yesterday, however, we all recognise he isn’t a long term solution.

How's your man from sociedad playing this season?

I never watch the Spanish football anymore I must admit... So I haven't a bloody clue myself.....

No idea how he’s playing but Sociedad aren’t playing well and are languishing in 14th.

Just saw Valencia are bottom, our new keeper seems to be having a lot of work to do.

Barrios, Zubimendi, Tcheuemeni, be happy with any of them tbh, we are definitely a quality player short in the middle.

Is Tcheuemeni technically good enough for slot though? I know he's a big tough strong ball winner.... But is good on the ball ability a bit suspect... Hence why Madrid are looking to move him on already

I think they have too many players in there.

I know Kroos has left and Modric can’t have much longer, there is still Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde and then some squad filler like Ceballos, Guler & Brahim (appreciate Guler & Brehim are more #10s).

I think they likely view Tchouameni as an expense they don’t necessarily need.

Mamardashvili has been really good for them, but Valencia look dead and buried. Long time coming with Gary Neville mate and the guy that tried to buy us Peter Lim in charge

Is Branthwaite dead in the water? Surely the kid wants out of the pit.

The price they'd want from us would be crazy. Especially woth the takeover likely in next few months. Also I could see the mancs and Chelsea in for him and the bitters would rather he went that way. If Amorim plays a 3 then they need more CB and he's a good option for the wide left CB

Think his progression stalled moving there. Was always going to be in and out the side with the amount of players they have.

Would depend on the fee for me. He's not worth more than they paid. And I'd be pissed off handing them 90ml so they can then throw it at Davies and Trent for signing on fees and contravts

Has his kicking improved? IMO, that feels a big problem.

I think Martinez could play left centre back. If he’s ever fit again, Shaw can play there as well.

I think there are other more urgent positions for them to address - right centre back (I always though Wan Bissaka would have been good in that role), both wide midfielders, central midfield (I notice Mainoo isn’t the 2nd  coming of Nobby Stiles anymore) and what to do with Fernandes & Rashford, who despite both being talented players, are surely a huge drain on resources & have questionable attitudes.

Then there are questions on the complete dead weights on Casemiro & Antony.

It really is a shit show. It’s glorious.

Not sure I necessarily agree. The Mancs have already spent vast sums on a ton of centre backs and Chelsea already have Colwill in the left CB role.

The mancs will need 5 CB options to play 3 at the back. They have 3 maybe 4 if you keep Maguire as a back up.

Noway Everton sell to us unless the banks told them they have to or we offer well over value

Liverpool are keen to improve their squad in January and are interested in signing France midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, 24, from Real Madrid.
