I think Neville knows deep down, but he has a bizarre obsession with making sure they stick with Nine Lives Hag, and long may that continue.

He doesn't, he is just a rat with an agenda that suits him. He is now part of the "team" so doesn't criticise them for their failure of finding someone to replace Ten Haag

Neville's mindset is informed by the fact he spent his entire youth as the Richard Hammond to Beckham's clarkson.

"Look at them girls Becks bet you could shag them girls you gecks and no bover".

"Do.you.want.me.to.ask.them.to.blow.you.a.kiss.or.let.you.smell.their.hair?"

"Rude you Becks that's not on that Becks I'm going home to Neville Neville's house to have a wank under me Manchester United association football club bedspread me mam got us from out catalogue. Ya twat."

Casemiro has a delicate little doll face. Every time I look at him it remainds me of the exchange in Firelfly where Mal and Inara are arguing over the 'wobbly headed doll caper'.

Only bloke in history with cheekbones above his eyes.

We broke on them 5v2 or 4v2 last season and didn't even get a shot away. Multiple times. Yesterday it was different.

Jota made a very unselfish run for the first goal, dragged 2 centre backs with him, opened the space and pointed to the back post where Dom and Diaz were waiting.

Huge difference in the way we attack and our composure when we get to the final 3rd under Slot. I love it. We need that calmness in the big games. We will do very well against the top 6 this season, where there are spaces to play.

Slots a very good manager, seriously good actually. Tactically solid, he's addressed the wide open gaps, we aren't so open when we lose the ball and are defending the 1v1 situations much better because there is cover in the right spaces.

With the ball....Dare I say it, we are man city esq in how we don't pass until we draw opponents towards us, making them commit, and opening up gaps elsewhere. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet, but we are definitely like man city when our centre backs and keeper has the ball. We play much riskier passes into midfielders who are marked, but it draws them in to tackle. Which opens up spaces elsewhere, and our players are quick to fill those gaps.

I wonder how long it will take other teams to catch on to what we are doing before we face a deep brick wall of 11 players in every game. Will be interesting to see how Slot breaks those teams down.

Great performance, men against boys. Totally dismantled them. People talking about not getting out of first gear, well I don't agree. Our shape and tactics meant we made it look easy. Just like Man City often do.

But none of this is possible without Klopp and the mentality he instilled in this team/club. Slot can't come in and get those players to play that way after 3 games without what Klopp did. Our players believe they can win, want to win, work hard to win. We press with aggression because of Klopp and the belief runs through the club.

I spent hours after the match watching pundit/fan reactions on YouTube. Seeing them all squirm like little fucking rats brings me joy. I'll never forget how they rubbed it in for those 20 years, I'll never let us destroying them at old Trafford pass me by. What goes around comes around. They were fucking stupid and arrogant to not realise in sport nobody ever stays at the top forever. Their day was always going to come. I fucking despise them. Shit club. Shit fans. Built by a manager who fueled the hatred for Liverpool. Fuck them.

I thought it was Salahs brilliance taking him by surprise.

I think the early strike made a difference but he was very close to his goal line and had too far to go to reach a shot that was not in the corner.

Like a lot of the Ajax team from 5 years ago, he seems to have had one decent season and then reverted back to ordinary.

I mean, you hate to see it, you really do...

Anyone else think De Ligt should have seen red for that tackle on Diaz?

I think it was just about a yellow. I don’t think it was overly dangerous ie he didn’t catch him studs on his shin.

Neville goes “he took the lot there”. Well, apart from the ball.

He wiped Diaz out but it wasn't a leg breaker or studs up, more shin on leg. I think Yellow was about right.

Mainoo should have had two yellows though.

I was laughing about them bemoaning Ugarte not being signed in time to play yesterday.

Obviously Casemiro was really bad, they are ignoring the other 10 players were almost as bad and their overall setup was shite.

For the massive shower of "it's there and it's them" pussies:

I knew I'd seen Mo's goal before. It's almost identical to the one he put past De Gea, only difference is De Gea got closer to it.

Don't want to burst the bubble but one of the reasons we were so clinical was because there was zero pressure on the goal scorer . Their midfield and defense was lower half of the league stuff. Good confidence builder but on reflection they were shite and we were above average .

I remember asking you who the player was the twitter transfer committee were demanding we sign last summer and it was that Ugarte. Searched his name and the PSG fans couldn’t wait to get shut of him. Can’t control a ball and follows up with a yellow card. Dont think he played after Xmas for them. They were hoping they could con the likes of Newcastle into taking him off their hands just so they could get some of their money back.

Only takes a ludicrous transfer fee for the mancs to put themselves front and centre getting them in while celebrating another major unchallenged transfer coup
