Welcome to Liverpool, Federico Chiesa

But I had to because last time I saw him was the night we were playing Psg in Paris. Back luck really. I told myself not to think about the game, but obviously it was too much to ask and I could not really get into the concert. A shame because his fitness is still  better  than Chiesa’s. Back to the topic ….

Scored for the u21s tonight. Looks like he’s put on a few extra pounds but it’s good to see he’s alive and well. If he can help the u21s win this international cup, money well spent Imo.

Really been disappointed with our youngsters so far this season . Only Nyoni looks capable

Were going to need him because Darwin can’t be relied on and Jota is made of glass. Put him on bench Saturday.

Wouldn't mind him doing an Origi in 2018 and unexpectedly coming off the bench to score an injury time winner after not being involved all season.

Ideally a similar goal.

That can be said for 99% of our youngsters for the last 150 years. 90% of them are comprised of local lads who either retire by the time they're 25 or are playing non league football somewhere. Our scouting needs a lot of work, especially overseas.

Doesn't look like Arne is in any rush to get any of the youngsters on the pitch anytime soon.

If Nyoni and someone like Ngumoha make it in the next 18-24 months then it's another 2 to add onto Kelleher, Quansah, Bradley, Jones etc.....it's not the worst success rate ever from academy to first team.

Maybe the extra pounds night help make him more robust? We can hope! The lad needs to get on the pitch and help out, earn that weekly £120,000.

I have always enjoyed watching them and they have been a pretty good watch. This season they are all over the show. Despite the fanfare Ngumoah has a way to go yet.

We need our forward players to be agile and sharp. The way he's going he won't see another minute of first team football with us.

Fun in the sense that u18/u21 football is filled to the brim with mistakes that leads to many goals, plus win/draw/lose doesn't really matter at that level so you can sit back, relax and not get anxious over the result. They may be a good watch against other players within their age group but finding that gem that can step up is rare.

For a guy that turned 16 when the season began, Ngumoha looks a special talent.

I think the way they try and play now is different not sure if we have changed the coaching team. For me I was never that worried about results but it would be nice to see some kind set up and playing style I don’t see that now. Maybe our lads are very young for their age group I don’t know if that’s the case.

A new first team manager filters down to all aspects of the club. Maybe the youngsters are caught somewhere between the styles of Klopp and Slot?
