Heathen Chemistry isn’t up to much either.

Again, a load of boring forgettable ones, however, Stop Crying Your Heart Out & Little By Little could be ranked in their best songs. Hindu Times and Hung In a Bad Place are alright as well.

Better than SOTSOG, worse than Be Here Now.

Keep listening and you'll be sending your tickets back in no time!

Listened to Be Here Now all the way through for the first time in 25 years yesterday.

Its just, well, not very good, is it?

There are a few good ones - D’you know what I mean? is a decent tune and I think My Big Mouth, Stand By Me & Fade In / Out rank alongside with some of their best work, the rest though…

It’s Getting Better Man is good but is about 3 minutes too long, Don't Go Away is so syrupy sweet it should come with a  warning it’ll cause cavities, All Around The World is a failed attempt at Hey Jude, Magic Pie has lyrics even Busted would be embarrassed about and the rest are just entirely forgettable.

Might give Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants tomorrow. I had Familiar To The Millions on the other day, Go Let it Out would have been a b-side had it been written during the Morning Glory years, Who Feels Love would have been discarded entirely and Gas Panic is a hugely underrated tune, I genuinely couldn’t sing a line or two from any of the rest of the songs on the album.

Are you kidding? Be Here Now is a superb album. Only a dickhead wouldn’t like it.

Familiar to Millions …. I don’t like Go Let It Out but there are some great tracks on it

Heathen Chemistry was superb if you went and seen them on that tour you’d get the rebirth and Liams voice on Born on a Different Cloud…… pisses in anything else around the time.

You haven’t got a clue about Oasis mate. If you don’t “get it” you’re not worthy. I don’t mind people who don’t like Oasis. But an Oasis fan….. they haven’t ever done a bad song. B-sides better than most bands could dream of writing.  Whine all the “fuck you” is some seriously boss music

Yet here you are again. You just jealous you don’t get it.

Haha, gotcha within 5 minutes!

I did get it, I was a fan back then and bought reasonably priced tickets to Maine Road and enjoyed my day.

Would I go now, not a chance.

Suppose I grew up and moved on, it happens.

There are lot of dickheads who don't like Be Here Now then.

Familiar To The Millions should have some great tracks on it given its live from Wembley and is basically a greatest hits setlist.

That last paragraph... You'll be calling me a cunt, a stain on humanity and saying I have no morals next.

Listening to all the albums post Morning Glory has only reaffirmed my view from the time - they nose dived, badly. It's Ok, a lot of bands do it. People would still buy their albums in the knowing there might be only be a couple of tracks that remind them of their hey day and the rest will be filler. Nothing wrong with being a nostalgia act, lots of great band are one these days.

Ha. I'm pretty sure at least 75% of the setlist will be made up of the Definitely Maybe & Morning Glory period. Any shite ones give me a chance for a piss and go to the bar.

I went on the Saturday, it was great. I remember sitting in a beer garden of a pub which was on the corner of a junction near the ground, I don't think it's there anymore. The pub was heaving hours before the gates opened and it was a really sunny day so I was half pissed before getting in the ground. The Manics(I was big fan and didn't know they were on)and Ocean Colour Scence supporting.

Made it home to my local discotheque afterwards with my gig programme in my arse pocket to meet some girl I was seeing at the time.

A great day all round for my 19 year old self.

This reminds me, I went to see Oasis at Sheffield Arena in April '95. Other than Slide Away & Live Forever, I never thought much of them and only went because a few of my mates were going & it was an adventure.

I can't remember much about it tbh but just Googled it and apparently it was Tony McCarroll's last gig.

I was just thinking me and you were at the same gig but it must have been ‘97 or ‘98 I was there because I was driving at the time.

I think.

It’s all a blur.

Mook be along shortly to tell you it was a better album than What’s the story…

*Michael Jackson popcorn gif*

I used to listen to it more at the time certainly. I would happily go the rest of my life without hearing a note from either LP now though.

I just looked at when those albums came out & it's not how I remember it at all...

Parklife - April 1994

Definitely Maybe - August 1994

The Great Escape - September 1995

What's The Story Morning Glory - October 1995

I was thinking What's The Story was up against Parklife but it came out about 18 months later.

Out of the four, I'd pick Parklife but as I say, they're not LPs I'd ever listen to now.

I was all about Second Coming in those days.

You’d pick Parklife over Definitely Maybe? Just fuck off Mook. Led Zepoelin are over hyped shit, The Who piss on them

That's fine, I'm not a massive Led Zepoelin fan.
