The police have reported themselves to the complaints commission as they'd had prior contact with the victim, which suggests he's complained about the behaviour of youths in the area and the police are concerned if they've done enough about it. Sounds more like a local scrote problem. There may be some racism involved but I'd be surprised of 12 year olds are listening to Farage et al.

12 year olds mightn’t be listening to them, but their parents could be.

My thoughts and all. There were kids caught up in it all anyway. Again they might not be white kids for all we know. It’s just f incomprehensible that kids that young could kick an 80 year old man to death.

Couple of conversations with what I'd loosely define as mates recently have compounded my worries about all this. Midlife fellas who get their news through Facebook, have no media literacy, and want to hark back to some imagined good old days are easy pickings for the far right or nutterville.
