Oh, and Bilbao are exactly the type of team Utd might fall to. Defensively solid and streetwise. Utd are a complete shambles, and if Spurs go through against Bodø, they are a better team than Utd. A couple of ridiculous decisions that went Utd’s way tonight.

You'd like to think there could be an amendment of some sort to the rules, where any decision that results in a red card can be reviewed by VAR. That 2nd yellow was scandalous.

Jesus christ, in the unfortunate situation of being in a chat with a few United/closet United fans and they are still fucking going on like they've won the whole tournament, not having just scraped by a 10 man team in extra time after having been 2 goals up(on the day) for 75 minutes of normal time.

The europa is so bad now the big teams don't drop into it. I always thought it was shit champions league teams did drop into it anyway but the  quality is abysmal. Qualifying for the champions league for winning that almost feels like you could win the egg and spoon race in school and get in the champions league.

Huge few weeks for a few teams woth Champions league spots up for grabs. Those that miss out might need to sell with FFP budgets to reinvest or just be compliant.

Massive 4 days for Villa coming up, 2 games defie try need to watch. Home to Newcastle on Saturday and away to City on Tuesday.

Hopefully Spurs can stop them from winning the competition, because no-one else will. Let the 2nd season Postecoglou prophecy endure.

Spurs have beaten them 3 times this season but it means nothing really. A trophy is on the line & Spurs will no doubt Spurs it.

I think Spurs will win it.

Still can’t believe we didn’t win in Basel. That comeback against Dortmund was worth of it. That second half was a shambles but it didn’t half teach Jurgen a lot about the side.

Spurs fans seemed decent when we played them in the 2019 big competition final.

Also, they were one of the only clubs to help us by regularly turning up against Man City every season.

And I know we’re meant to hate everyone else these days, but I like Postecoglou.

Wouldn’t mind them winning it out.

I honestly don't give a shit about Spurs or United or what they are doing  at this point.

I fucking hate the Mancs. If they don’t qualify for the Champions League this season then that’s another nail in their coffin on their way to being a complete irrelevance. I didn’t watch it last night or even check the score after they went 2-0 up. So fucking annoying this morning to see they were so close to going out. I hope the horrible cunts never win another match. Plus you have to put up with all the media hyperbole whenever they win.

Same. I checked the score when it was 2-2, then seen Lyon went 4-2 up. Went and watched a film so had a look 2 hours later seen the result.

Stayed away from news outlets  I   an imagine that Simon Stone is writing about seven articles for BBC Sport.

Sad news this. He's not a massive name or anything (not that that matters) but remember seeing his story on the local news.

Poor lad. 36 is no age, really.

Yeah, I wouldn't begrudge them beating Athletic Bilbao in the final.
