VAR has led to this with refs. They are relying on VAR to make big calls so they often don't book or send players off in case it has to be reversed

Muppet show from the referee in the first half of the Spurs game. Been a handful of incidents where it’s very obvious that he had no idea what actually happened, and just made a decision based on, well something I guess.

This game has been entertaining but neither are playing well, it’s completely littered with mistakes.

The Caicedo one was never a red. A mishit kick, never a straight leg, no danger at all. A yellow would probably have been ok, problem is I’m pretty sure the ref never saw what actually happened. Another problem of course is that he’s a completely useless referee.

Just seen another replay, and have to say it’s unbelievable that Kulusevski wasn’t sent off for that elbow. They manage to fuck up big decisions, small decisions, any decisions, many times every single match.

If they had done their job and sent off Caicedo then they wouldnt have to even the score by letting Kulusevski away with a blatant red . They make themselves ridiculous .

Caicedo isn't a red in my opinion. Yes it's high but it's not studs and it's not force.
