Peterborough have released a statement complaining because the cup tie against Everton has been moved to a Thu night to avoid clashing with ours on Sat.

Naturally, even though this has been done in conjunction with the FA and Merseyside Police, we’re getting it in the neck even though we have no involvement. Just the wee bit of not understanding that if we progress in the LC we’ll have a two legged semi on the preceding, and following, Tuesday.

Abu Dhabi are already down to a maximum of 96. Which they could only get by winning all their remaining 23 games.

It is therefore IMO extremely unlikely they will even get to 90. They'd need 63 pts from 23 games to do that - 104 over a season form.

Arsenal and Chelsea can both get a maximum of 100 - one or possibly both won't as they have to play each other - So again I think neither will get to 90. To do do so they both need 62 pts from 24 games - 98 pts over a season form.

So to get to 90 (and i don't think title winners will need quite 90 but let's say 90 is safe) we need 55 pts from 24 games - an average of 2.29 per game - 87 pts over a season form.

While I appreciate the effort, I can't help but long for 3 additional ways of assessing how well on track we are to win the league.

@The Woolster is in a league of his own on this. If he can be arsed.

Everytime I see something like this it just reminds me of having to forfeit a quarter fucking final for being too good.

Well if it helps we are currently on track to get 95 pts....

If @The Woolster can provide what you want then great - if not let me know what that looks like and i'll happily have a crack - I like shite like that!

Chris Woods has 10 goals this season. Chris fucking Woods.

There are a lot worst strikers that have managed that at this stage, including Andy Carroll and Peter Odemwingie.

I get his name sucks and he looks like a plummer but if you study his game closely, you'll see he's the closest striker we've had to Kane in the league this decade. These are the phacts, no mind games....just speaking the fax.

The much hyped appointment of Dean Ashworth by the Mancs has reached an end with him leaving yesterday.

Did he not go on a strike to go to the Mancs?

'Ashworth leaves after five just months'

Dan Ashworth has left his role as sporting director at Manchester United after just five months, according to The Athletic.

The 53-year-old's move from Newcastle has reportedly "not worked" and his departure was agreed in a meeting at Old Trafford last night.

Ashworth - who formerly worked for Brighton and the FA - was seen as a statement appointment by INEOS after they secured his release from Newcastle earlier this year.

Apparently five months leave before going to United, also had a good while on gardening leave when going from Brighton to Newcastle, mans an absolute grifter.

Wouldn't the terms of his contracts be the cause of that.

Hardly a grifter, folks were lining up to hire him!
