I've no problem with Sterling wanting to ask the manager about why he was left out, but this was completely the wrong way to do it. He should have left it until today and arrnaged to speak to the manager today. That press release one hour before kick off was a cunts trick.

The manager said he was left out for technical reasons. That bullshit is also a cunts trick. They are trying to force him out, there can't be any doubt about that. The question becomes why can they act as cunts but the player can't?

But that came out in the post-match press conference after Team Sterling had gone public and when the manager was asked about it, didn't it? There was nothing public from the manager before the game. Sterling did what he did before the game.

Had he not done so it could have been dealt with today.

Couldn’t bring myself to watch the Man City game yesterday. The match reports suggest I made the right choice.

Surely a large percentage of football fans across most other clubs feel similar by now?

They’ve destroyed the game in every way.

Them and Chelsea both have tbh.

Another load of nonsense yesterday in the Brentford/Palace match denying a goal (and a belter at that) for no reason. Yes, the ref makes a "mistake" and he's held his hands up, but what's the point of having VAR and then saying "Sorry, can't use it" when a blatantly terrible and wrong decision like that has been made? The ball is practically in the net when he blows the whistle, but because he's blown the whistle, the goal can't be awarded even though there's a video refereeing system in place? Beggars belief
