I’ve quite liked Angel Gomes since the u21 tournament England won the other summer. 
 

He’s out of contract in June. Maybe wouldn’t be a starter for us, I think he’d be better squad player than some we currently have. 
 

It’d be funny to piss the mancs off as well, given they let him go on a free.

Wouldn't hurt the home grown quota either, especially as we will lose some this summer. But can't him signing for a club who he will struggle to get a start for.

He would really bring down the collective height, which I think Premier League clubs actually care about.

It’s the same issues had in the summer. 
 

The wingers aren’t prepared to go past Kane (Grealish and Palmer doing extactly what Saka and Foden did), Kane drops deep and takes Bellingham’s space. 
 

It England kept the ball in the final 3rd for long periods like Man City, it likely wouldn’t be a problem, it just ends up all being a slow ponderous mess.

 

Muduake, Gordon, Watkins…somebody needs to be playing who is prepared to make runs in behind and stretch it.
