Sadly the right will piss the next election - we are on a road similar to what led to Trump winning power in America.

My guess is a united right under that slug Johnson will be our version.

I suppose if Labour collapse and other parties like Lib Dems, Greens and others take a load of their votes it might happen. Hope it's more of a small margin than Labour currently have though if if does so there's at least an opposition capable of doing something.

The combined tory and reform vote last time beats lab easily - hard to see that support changing and a united right therefore wins.

I think the media have overhyped just how popular reform are.

They have lost the last council elections and they have only won a handful overall.

They are only a party of 5 and they have already fallen out with each other.

With any luck rowe will set up another party and split the vote further.

I also think reform are heavily tied to trump and if things really do go tits up,this support will diminish even further.

on a side note I find it strange how millionaires are happy to fund right wing parties and media outlet but not left wing ones?

still...I suppose they have our best interests at heart.

Most of the big business labour backers switched from tory when they saw which way they wind was blowing, as they do. Labour had also seemingly passed the interview stage.

Just waiting for evidence we have a left wing government

Such as Lord Ali, the Sainsbury family? I think you will find they are longstanding Labour supporters. I believe Lord Sugar is also a long time Labour supporter but not sure how much he contributes. There are others also but if you want to dismiss them as fair weather friends then feel free.

Are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise
While Rubin sits like Buddha in a ten-foot cell

Nice free pair of Sabrina Carpenter concert tickets for Reeves.

Couldn't write it. Leeches, all of them.

She took them so we didn't have to.

On another note, who the fuck is Sabrina Carpenter?

She's a record breaking singer. She's currently got 3 songs in the top 15.

Not my cup of tea, but she's popular.

My comment obviously belongs in the "things that make you realise you are getting older" thread.

In mitigation you only need to sell about 5 records now to go top, but I take your point

If it was just down to voters Labour/Lib Dems/Greens could try making a coalition, they got way more votes together (15m) than Tory/Reform (11mil). As we know though parties will take votes off each other and the way they get seats doesn't match the voters they have so it could be really hard to work out.

The thing that still amazes me is that Greens and Reform had over half the amount of votes that Labour got and ended up with 402 less seats. How is that democracy? I don't like the idea of Reform having more seats but it's still totally broken. Each party in power just keeps it going though and doesn't change it.

PR would fix that.....but the establishe order do not want it do they!

The Lib Dems are an odd one - they tend to pick up a lot of votes and then seats in areas that are tory strongholds when people have the nark with the tories - but those voters often then go back to the tories next time.

I still think the Lib Dems are morally bankrupt from when they went into a coalition with the tory vermin - i appreciate it is a different gang, but i can'r forgive and forget.

I don't really know much about the Lib Dems to be honest and not sure if a coalition with two or more of those parties would even work with the way things are. If it's ever possible though I'd prefer them to at least try and find some common ground if they had the chance of keeping Reform and/or Tories out.

Happy to justify inflivcting pain on the poorest in society, then casually take free tickets to a concert those people couldn't hope to afford.

Fucking tone deaf, the lot of them. Not just Labour, the Tories and Reform as well.
