It's an awful shirt mate, I can't remember us having a worse one. It looks like it's been cobbled together out of bits of scrap material from of the sewing bin by a 7 year old, which it probably has come to think of it.

He is what he is, there will be moments of magic, loads of frustration lack of awareness amd he will always look like he could be the answer if he could just finish. But he just doesn't look like a striker that will win you tbe league. He's 25 and not a kid anymore and unlikely to really improve much. He's just not clinical enough of quick enough on the ball to be the answer. We really should have bought another forward but will rely on him and Jota staying fit

I wouldn't be making this sort of comment after one half of pre-season, but generally speaking the Darwin Nunez experience has proven that if you are a striker and you aren't great technically and off the ball, you have to score literally every game like Haaland does or it's probably not gonna be enough at the highest level. If he's not ultra prolific this season, he's probably gonna have to go.

People wouldn't be ready to jump on him if it wasn't 2 seasons of the same thing.

Even if he was hitting 16/17 premiership goals he'd be fine but he's not and it's not due to to lack of chances.

Yeah, but as part of a 5 forward rotation of sorts, you have to be clinical to reach that tally. Or you play well enough to make yourself a certain starter. The problem has been he takes too many things off the table to play all the time, with and without the ball, and then on top of that, he hasn't been clinical. Realistically, he needs a season like his last at Benfica where everything flies in.

Why are we playing in an empty stadium? Just let those that attended earlier stay if they want to. I watched 5 minutes and it brought me back to the non season, it isn't football. If we must play it behind closed doors then at least turn off the cameras. North American pervs are watching this and analysing the possible interior xg projection for Ben Doak.

I'm surprised we seem open to selling him. There's definitely been some heavy assessments on the kids by Edwards and Hughes as they seem open to dumping a few of them. Can only assume with Doak they are just not seeing the improvement in him.

Even if they couldn't have sold tickets for the entire ground, they could've let in a good few thousand kids for free from the surrounding area. Just open up the kop is all that was needed.

If she was on the back of the wagon then you would need to be concerned about the driver. Why is Margot Robbie turning up at my door, in the nip? Is the the driver her pimp, will he rob the place in the 25 seconds I'm preoccupied? Would that even matter?
